pairing , yoon jiyoon x fem!reader
summary , your best friend jiyoon is in the school band and you kept feeling lonely as she gets busy with band practice. while she performs in front of the whole school, she decides to surprise you. even though .. it wasn’t really her thing .
tags — fluff, non-idol au, high school au, grumpy x sunshine, guitarist!jiyoon, best friends to lovers . ( grammatical errors )
Tumblr media
"she fell down the stairs- yoon jiyoon are you even listening?!" you stops talking as you noticed jiyoon staring at you and probably not even listening to the story you’re telling her.
she seems to be lost in thoughts as she kept staring at you. you hate to admit it but she looks so… damn attractive right now. she has always been but, that thick black frame glasses plus she’s leaning against her palm while spacing out? god damn.
she finally snapped out of her thoughts when you suddenly smacked her on her shoulder.
"ouch, what the hell?" she hissed and rubbed the shoulders where you smacked her.
"you weren’t listening to me! what were you even thinking about.." you pouted while jiyoon just send a glare towards you.
"nothing. i’m sorry."
you can still remember the first time you saw jiyoon. she was sitting there looking all grumpy and unapproachable, but there was something about her that intrigued you. as you got to know her better, you realized that she was actually a really nice person, just a bit rough around the edges. and a bit mean too.
over time, you two became really good friends. you spent lots of time together, hanging out, studying, and goofing around. and before you knew it, you feelings for her had deepened into something more than friendship...
jiyoon’s cold demeanor started to soften, and she started to open up to you more and more. she started to let her guard down and reveal the warm and caring side of herself that she usually kept hidden (maybe a bit only). you laughed and joked and had the best times together. And all the while, your feelings for her keep grew stronger and stronger.
you wasn't sure how to tell her how you felt, though. she was always so guarded, and you didn't want to risk ruining your friendship. and you also doesn’t know if she even feels the same way towards you.
"look who’s spacing out now."
you didn’t realise it. you were literally looking at her while spacing out. and why the hell is she suddenly so damn close to your face. you can feel you heartbeat quickens as she gets closer. you’re afraid that she might hear your heartbeat racing so you push her face away softly.
"s-shut up…" you stuttered and look away, to shy to even look at jiyoon in the eyes.
jiyoon lips turns into a small smile but you didn’t catch it. you look back at jiyoon as you heard her standing up. you look up at her curiously.
"where you going?" you asks, quite sad that she’s leaving already. jiyoon sighs before patting your head.
"i got band practice remember? i have to go."
your mind drifted back to the day she told you that she’s gonna be busy this week because she’s preparing for a band performance for this school event. it’s a special event that will be held next week after all the students who had been trying so hard during the exams. so this is lowkey like to cheer everyone up?
"aww… shucks." you mumbled before standing up too. jiyoon let out a small smile before handing you a lollipop, your favourite flavour too.
"see you later."
she said and walked away, leaving you alone in the library. you know too damn well you’re gonna miss her later. you hated this feeling, feeling like you’re left all alone. you sighs before unwrapping the lollipop and pop it into your mouth. well, you just gotta wait see jiyoon again tomorrow.
Tumblr media
your day went on pretty smoothly today, nothing bad seems to happen yet knowing how clumsy you can be sometimes. even though your day been going well, you still can’t help but feel a pang of longing. jiyoon has always been stuck to your side but since she’s busy, you find yourself being more quiet than usual. this lowkey causes your classmates to freak out.
during recess, you decided to find jiyoon and maybe have a small talk with her since she doesn’t speak too much even around you. would it be weird if i say that you get lost in your own school? well it is lowkey your fault for not remembering where the band practice room is. and just as you about to asked a random student you saw mai from afar. that’s when it hits you. mai is also a member in the band. you quickly catch up to her before she gets a little too far.
"mai unnie!" you shouted from afar, catching mai’s attention. she turned around and was greeted by the sight of you panting. all tired from catching up to her. what’s wrong with people who have long legs. they walk too damn fast.
"oh? y/n is it?" mai asked as she looks at you, recognising your features.
"yes! unnie are you heading to your band practice?" you asked, your breathing finally back to normal.
"well yea i am. wanna come along? you missed jiyoon don’t you" mai grinned. your cheeks flushed a bright pink at the mention of jiyoon. well, you admit that you’ve been dying to see jiyoon again.
"i’m just kidding come on, let’s go" mai smiled and started leading the way, all the while having you walking side by side with her.
while walking, you didn’t really realise how much you were talking to her knowing how extroverted you are. but by seeing how mai seems to listen and reply to you, you couldn’t help but to feel happy that someone is listening to your story.
as you two arrived at the band practice room, you were greeted with the sight of them practicing individually. your eyes immediately landed on jiyoon, she was tuning her guitar while koko were watching her doing so.
"jiyoon, your girlfriend here" mai blurted out, causing you to choke on your own saliva. you swear you can feel all the eyes on you as you slowly turns into the same colour as a tomato. oh my god.
"girlfriend?"
"girlfriend?!"
"girlfriend!"
jiyoon stops tuning her guitar and turns to look your way. she noticed you were avoiding everyone eyes and she smiles to herself before putting down her guitar and walking over to you. she gives mai a glare before mumbling.
"we’re just friends, nothing more.." jiyoon mumbled and went your way. ouch?
jiyoon sighs as leans against the doorway while looking down at you since you’re shorter than her. "hey, i didn’t expect you to be here."
"i was bored okay, plus i has no one to talk to!" you whines softly, not catching the way jiyoon smiles lit up at your cute little whining.
"whatever. have you eaten yet?"
"nope, i don’t really feel like eating anything today."
jiyoon furrowed her eyebrows as you said that. she may be cold and mean to you sometimes but, deep down she really cares about your wellbeing. that’s why you will never catch yourself not eating when she’s around.
"what- why not?" jiyoon asked, her tone serious. "you could’ve passed out again you know. come, let’s go-"
"jiyoon it’s fine! you have practice right? i don’t want you to waste your time accompanying me to eat…" you shakes your head.
"shut up. your health is more important. at least fill your stomach a bit." she muttered before walking to the cafeteria. you groans while rolling your eyes and chase after her. and once again, you hates people with long legs.
Tumblr media
now it’s a day before the big event, and everyone seemed to be practicing very hard today. you don’t know why but, you find yourself occasionally going to the band practice room to see jiyoon. i won’t say that though… because you’re literally peeking through the door like a creep. and no the girls is totally fine with it! they even invited you to be their first ever guest and you couldn’t be more excited.
of course you didn’t just sit there and watch them. every time they’re taking a break, you’ll make sure to bring them some enough water and even some snacks for saebi. wait, have i mentioned how clingy saebi is with you? basically, whenever you stopped by to see them (jiyoon), saebi will always be at the door waiting for you. such a cutie!
well that pretty much explains why you’re in this situation. you’re just sitting on the floor with saebi hugging your side, it’s been like this for more than five minutes. and here’s the thing, you don’t mind saebi sticking to you but, she really seems like she doesn’t wanna go practicing anytime soon, causing the others to be mad at her.
"jeong saebi hurry up! it’s tiring you know!" jungeun shouted, startling poor saebi. the other members were already in their position, just waiting for saebi now.
"saebi go practice, unnie will treat you ice cream later okay?" you soothed her which immediately makes the pout on saebi’s face turns into a bright smile. she quickly agreed and went to her position. sarang mouth went wide open at seeing how easy for you to soothe her.
you giggles softly at saebi’s behaviour. you turn to look at jiyoon who immediately shifted her gaze away from you. why is she suddenly like this? you just shrugged it off and watch them practice.
after two rounds of nonstop practicing, they all went out to take a break but not jiyoon. she stayed in the practice room to clean and tune her guitar. her grumpy demeanour were clearly visible on her face.
"jiyoon, you’re not going with them?" you asks as you stood up from the floor. jiyoon simply shakes her head and continue cleaning her guitar.
you took notice at how she’s acting way grumpier than she already is. you let out a small smiles before taking a seat next to her on the couch. you know too damn well why she’s suddenly like this. and it’s honestly cute.
"hey, talk to me" you poked her side, and in return you earned a glare from her. you pouted and fiddled with the hem of your skirt instead.
"there’s nothing to talk about. i’m busy." jiyoon muttered, her eyes fixated on her guitar.
"jiyoon.." you whines, poking her sides again. "don’t be mad at me"
"i’m not."
"you’re jealous aren’t you?" you said, making jiyoon stops at what she was doing.
"i-i’m not. you’re bluffing." she huffed and looks away. she’s a bad liar, and you knows it. judging by how red her is there’s no way she ain’t jealous.
"aw come on! saebi is just like a little sister to me!"
"i don’t care. i’m not jealous."
"stop lying!"
Tumblr media
it’s now late in the evening, most of the students already went home and here you are sitting in detention. long story short, the teacher caught you skipping class (you just wanna see jiyoon) and that’s how you ended up here. sadly.
the detention already ended around six minutes ago but you didn’t realise it since you fell asleep. not until, you felt a tap on your shoulder causing you to wakes up from your deep slumber. you groans and swatted whoever hands was that.
"wake up sleepyhead."
you immediately jolted awake as you hear her voice. jiyoon’s voice. you squinted your eyes to make sure that it was really jiyoon and once you saw her you gasped.
"jiyoon? what are you still doing here? school ended two hours ago!" you said, clearly not understanding why jiyoon is still here at this hour.
"i was waiting for you, idiot." she ruffles your hair softly.
you felt your heartbeat quickened. first her words, second the way she effortlessly ruffling your hair right now. oh my.
"stop staring at me. let’s go home." she sighs and slings your bag over her shoulder. all the while, her own bag on her other shoulder. you stood up and tried to stop her but she beats you to it.
jiyoon walks away, leaving you speechless. what the hell is happening right after you wake up? you shouted her name and chase after her.
the walk home was peaceful. you two shared some small talks together. you gazed up at the sky, seeing at how it’s gonna turn dark soon. jiyoon eyes landed on you. oh how the sun reflects on your features and it is driving her insane.
"hey, what were you doing while i’m in detention?" you asks, breaking the silence.
"i was practicing a special song for tomorrow." jiyoon mumbled as you two keeps walking side by side. occasionally bumping into each other’s shoulders.
"special song? you wrote it?" you asks and she nodded in response. you look at her and excitedly. jiyoon wrote a song to perform tomorrow? can’t wait!
"omg! really? why you never tell me?!" you shirked, startling jiyoon at your sudden loudness. she rubbed her poor ears and you smack her playfully which caused her to let out a small giggle.
"it’s a secret that’s why, you just gotta wait for tomorrow" jiyoon smiles.
"oh trust me, i’ll be there in the crowd!" you laughs and you two continue your journey back home.
Tumblr media
you’d be lying if you said you’re not struggling to get a seat as near as the stage. like why are all this people also here hello? were you pissed? yes. you’re literally their friend so you really think that you deserve to be at the front but no. guess what, your seat is almost at the back.
you finally calmed down after fuko managed to get you to. if it wasn’t for her, you definitely will already started throwing hands. fuko to the rescue indeed (i miss fuko)
"you reckon they’ll be starting soon?" fuko asks, curiously tip toeing so that she can see whatever is going on at the stage. you only shrugged at her, clearly not in the mood anymore since you didn’t get the front row. you slumped lazily on the chair while fuko keeps trying to get you to stand up.
"unnie, i’m not in the mood-" suddenly the sounds of guitar filled the stage making you jolted up from your seat immediately.
"OH MY GOD! UNNIE LIFT ME UP I CANT SEE SHIT" you exclaimed excitedly. fuko looks at you with disbelief. didn’t you say you’re not in the mood earlier? the heck happened.
as the lights flickered on, your eyes immediately landed on no other than yoon jiyoon. she looks so damn good in that grey baggy shirt plus her thick framed glasses. you could die happily right now.
the stages goes on and on, and every time they switched to another song your mouth kept widening. they all did so well! and you couldn’t be more proud.
after performing a few songs, they have a little talk and break on the stage. and all the while, jiyoon were looking for you in the crowd. she tried her best to not make it obvious though but you obviously caught her looking for you! so you pulled out the banner you make to wave at her. you saw that jiyoon tried her best to contains her smile when she saw what was written on the banner. in bold letter it says : yoon jiyoon my number one rockstar! it was goofy but it’s you so she’s completely fine with it. no. she loves it.
after what felt like an eternity, the performance finally comes to and end. you felt kinda sad that it’s ending already. but suddenly the sound of jiyoon clearing her throat caught your attention.
"before we end this performance, i would like to play one more song." jiyoon said, making the crowd cheers with excitement.
"i heard this song is special isn’t it, jiyoon?" jeemin teased and jiyoon only laughs softly.
"well yeah… this song is pretty special. apparently, i spent my time writing it while thinking about someone." jiyoon admitted shyly and her band members started teasing her and so is the crowd.
"well, i hope that someone listens to this until the very end."
and just like that, jiyoon swiftly strummed her guitar. the melody was soft and calming. totally different to what they just performed. as the song goes on, you felt your heart melted at the sweet lyrics. it isn’t what you expect from jiyoon but yeah.
the song finally comes to and end and the crowd erupted with cheers and claps. but you saw on the big screen that jiyoon was hesitating to say something. jiyoon let out a shaky breath before gripping the mic.
"this song is for you, kim y/n."
that’s when it hits you. just as the same times the fireworks erupted into the night sky. you couldn’t believe it. fuko was shaking you aggressively but your eyes met jiyoon’s. am i dreaming?
Tumblr media
you patiently waited at one of the food stalls for jiyoon. it’s not packed with many people but sure there are a few only. at this point, you honestly doesn’t know what to feel. are you shocked? yes. are you happy? yes. everything just seems to swirls round and round inside your head.
"hey… take this." your head snaps up as you heard jiyoon’s voice. she’s avoiding your eyes while holding the bouquet of flowers in front of your face. you giggles softly as you take the flowers from her hands.
jiyoon cleared her throat before speaking, "uh yeah so um… like is it cool? d-do you think the song is… cool?" jiyoon cursed herself as she stuttered.
"yeah, i love it" you smiles.
"i can’t keep it much longer. kim y/n, will you-"
"yes" you cut her off, catching her off guard. jiyoon tried to act annoyed by it but the smile that crept up her lips prevented her from doing so.
"you didn’t even let me finish my word, idiot." jiyoon chuckles and softly ruffles your hair.
"okay so, wanna grab something to eat?" jiyoon mumbled.
"sure babe." you smiles and hold jiyoon’s hands.
babe? jiyoon felt like running, screaming, giggling right here right now. she can’t believe it. your hands in hers, intertwined together. the soft giggles that came out from your mouth only makes jiyoon smiles brighter. she wouldn’t have it no other way. she has the most precious girl with her.

a/n — i indeed does not like the ending.

chapter four ♫ masterlist ♫ askbox
Tumblr media
chapter five ♫♪♩·.¸¸
A lot of good things happened to Eddie last night. He closed a deal with his future new manager, starting their collaboration early in the new year when he fulfills his current contract and he would be free to leave. He had a long talk with his band when they were alone, finding out that they were also unhappy with the way things had been going on so far. Then there was the show - it was different, good. Eddie was nervous, which he hadn't felt for a long time and he was excited. He loved the show, he was happy again. Simply because he knew you were there, watching him. He wore his best outfit, played his favourite guitar that night, he even added a touch of eyeliner to his look, which is something he used to do in his early days, when he was still performing to the local drunks back home.
But then everything went to shit. They had just come off stage, tired but in high spirits. Eddie's fingers were still tingling from all the playing, a bead of sweat running down his temple as he dropped down to the couch in the middle of the dressing room. He rested his head on the back of the worn out couch and closed his eyes for a minute, just enjoying the moment. His heart was still racing, but it wouldn't calm down now, not when he was anxiously waiting for you. There was a knock on the door, Eddies eyes popped open. It's only been a minute, he didn't expect you so soon.
The door flew open and in walked a girl, but not the one he was looking for. This girl, he knew very well, though he wish he didn't. Madeline. The press had picked up a scent they were dating about a year ago, Eddie didn't have to think too hard about who might have leaked it. Yes, they actually went on a date once, but nothing ever came of it. Eddie had realized his mistake on taking her out half way through the date. She was pretty and very ambitious, but it wasn't hard to see what she was really after. Not Eddie, his heart or soul, but something she deemed more valuable - the immediate popularity she would get once she'd bag him, not to mention the money of course. He remained a gentleman throughout the date but told her in the car later, when he offered to drop her home, that nothing would ever come of this.
Eddie thought it would end there, but every once in a while, she would pop back up. He blocked her number, when she tried to call him. He even banned her from coming to his shows, so the fact that she was here right now, was unpredicted. Her wild eyes quickly meet his uncertain ones and she jumps on the couch, too close for comfort. ''Eddie! Great show, as always. You're such a rockstar.''
Eddie subtly shifted away from her, trying to put distance between them. ''Madeline, what are you doing here?''
''Came to see you, silly,'' she yakked, resting her manicured hand on his knee, unphased when he immediately pulled away.
''Look,'' he sighed. ''I appreciate that and everything, but you need to leave. I'm expecting someone.''
''Oh, who?'' she asked.
''That's not your concern.''
''So it's a girl then,'' she stated, pouting her lips.
Eddie's patience was running thin, he fought the urge to roll his eyes. ''Madeline, for the 100th time - I am not interested in you. You need to accept that.''
''I find that hard to believe, Eddie. Your body is saying something different, it's hot against mine.'' Madeline scooted closer and pressed her body against his, their thighs touching.
''Are you out of your mind? I just did a show.'' Eddie was baffled, Madeline was annoying but she usually took the hint. She was now close enough that he could see her bloodshot eyes up close, then she sniffed. She was high, he realized, probably on something stronger. From his peripheral vision, Eddie could see one of the guys walk to the door, opening it.
''No, Eddie. I've never been more sane.'' She grabbed him by the shoulders and smashed her lipgloss sticky lips onto his with enough force to knock the wind out of him, catching him totally off guard.
It took two seconds for his senses to kick back in and to push her off. He held Madeline by the elbows, keeping her at arm's length. But it was too late. He turned to the door and there you were, looking at him. He didn't have to guess that it was you, he got that same feeling he always got when he talked to you. His tummy tingled, heart swelled, but this time it was tainted with enormous remorse. Your eyes were glossy with unshed tears, lips trembling. When the first tear rolled down your cheek, you turned and disappeared back towards the exit.
Eddie shot up from the couch and chased after you, the door slamming shut behind him. ''Y/N! Wait, please!''
''Don't bother, Eddie,'' you shot back, voice strained and shaking.
''This isn't what it looks like, I swear,'' Eddie pleaded with you, catching up and stopping in front of you. ''Please, let me explain.''
''Move,'' you deadpanned, face vacant of any emotion except for the two dried streaks running down your cheeks. Eddie placed his hands on your upper arms, to stop you from leaving, which you instantly jerked away from, like you'd been burned.
''Please,'' he begged, ''give me a chance to explain everything.''
''Just let me leave, Eddie,'' you wiped your face, arms crossing in front of you. You refused to look at him and he couldn't ignore the stab in his heart.
''Give me five minutes and I will do anything you want,'' Eddie pleaded, dipping his head trying to catch your eyes.
Locking eyes with him, you relented. ''Two minutes.''
''The girl you saw was Madeline, we went out once a year ago and she's been trying to snake her way into my life ever since. I'm not interested her and never was. I don't know how she got in tonight, she's high on something and then she kissed me.''
''Her instagram said you sent her VIP tickets,'' you said.
''That's bullshit. I didn't send her anything but I think I know who did,'' he defended.
You considered his words for a moment, before unlinking your arms and straightening your back. ''Okay, your two minutes is up. Now, you said something about doing anything I wanted?''
''Yeah?'' he asked, sounding a bit hopeful.
''Don't contact me again, Eddie.'' With that, you pushed past him, leaving the arena, taking his heart with him.
.•♫•♬•
Back in your car, you drove the few miles to your apartment instead of going back to your parents' house. You didn't have the strength to face Robin or answer any questions tonight. You dragged yourself up the stairs and pushed inside, locking the door afterwards. You stood in the middle of your living room, gathering your thoughts. The silence seemed extra haunting at this moment, seeping into your bones. You sat on the couch, kicking your boots off. Lifting your legs up, you laid down on your side, pulling a sage green fleece blanket over your shivering form, pulling it up to your chin.
When you closed your eyes, the only thing you saw were their locked lips.
After a pretty sleepless night, you decided to get up when you were awoken by the booming of thunder. You'd kept on the same position the entire night, you groaned when you stretched out on the small couch. You found your purse on the floor and fished out your phone, anticipating the amount of messages or calls from Eddie, but you found nothing. Defeated, you sighed and threw it aimlessly on the cushion next to you. You didn't know why you were disappointed, you specifically told him not to contact you. Still, there was a part of you that hoped he would... what, fight for you? He respected your wishes yet it still stung.
You waited until it was an appropriate time and called Robin to fill her in on the details, telling her you would drive back shortly. She gasped when you told her how you found Eddie in his dressing room, but Cherry was the one who spoke up, indicating Robin put the phone on speaker. ''I knew it was a good choice to bring my pepper spray. That girl needs to be sprayed immediately.''
''Wait, who are you talking about?'' you asked, mouth full of buttery toast.
''Madeline, duh,'' she said matter-of-factly.
''I'm lost,'' Robin chimed in.
''Yeah, me too. Do you know her?'' you asked.
''Not personally, but I've read about her. She's a leech, only interested in being relevant.''
You thought about what Eddie said last night. He didn't invite her and she kissed him. Were you wrong about everything? No, if Madeline was only interested in fame, what would her kissing Eddie in private get her?
''It doesn't matter, I asked him not to contact me anymore and he hasn't. So, it's over.''
.•♫•♬•
Eddie was hunched over the table at breakfast, playing around with some pieces of broccoli. He didn't want to interact with anyone and he certainly didn't want anybody seeing him either, he took a good look in the mirror before and it wasn't pretty. His eyes were sunken, red rimmed from lack of sleep and overthinking. Last night was a fucking disaster. After you stormed out of the place, Eddie walked back to his dressing room, where Madeline was still perched on the couch, chatting with his manager now.
Swallowing down all of the word that were fighting to escape, instead he took a deep breath and asked Madeline to leave, threatening her with a restraining order if she ever contacted him again. It seemed to click for her, finally and she scurried out of the room.
''You sent her the tickets?'' he asked, looking straight at his soon to be former manager.
''Yes, Ed. She's pretty, could have done for some good publicity if you hadn't sent her away,'' he barely looked back at him, typing on his phone.
''You're fired.''
Looking up from his phone, he finally seemed to be alert. ''What?''
''I said, you're fired.'' Eddies fists were clenched, nostrils flared as he tried to keep his composure.
''You can't fire me, buddy, we still have a contract.''
''I'll pay you whatever I owe, with interest, just get fucking lost.''
His manager slipped his phone into his pocket and walked over to him. ''You're making a big mistake, Eddie.''
''I'd say it's the best decision I've ever made.''
''You're gonna regret this,'' his manager pointed a finger at him, stabbing it into his chest. From the corner of his eye, the other guys had joined Eddie's side.
''Doubtful,'' one of them said.
There was a tense stand off, before their manager relented and stormed out of the room, shouting something about lawyers.
Eddie sighed and fell onto the couch. He just fired his manager and they still have some shows to play, he needed to figure out what to do. But that could wait, he had more pressing matters, like how to get you back.
Eddie shook last night's memories from his mind and left the breakfast area, returning to his room. He pulled up the number for Julie, his soon to be new manager and gave her a call. Eddie was relieved when she was happy to hear from him, offering to meet up before the show and to discuss anything he needed, pro bono as she said, since she's not working for him technically, yet. Eddie had to hung up with her when there was a knock on his door. He rushed to open the door, already aware who it was.
There he stood, Wayne Munson himself, Eddie's hero. They embraced each other, Eddie breathing in his uncle's scent of cigarettes and straight black coffee. ''I'm so glad you're here.''
''Me too, kid.'' Wayne let him go and gave him a once over. ''Are you alright? You look like shit, to be blunt.''
Eddie smirked, sadly though. ''Not really.''
They sat down on Eddie's bed and he filled his uncle in on everything that had happened yesterday and prior to that too. He needed Wayne's guidance, who listened carefully and never interrupted until Eddie was finished.
''Wow,'' Wayne sighed. ''Have to say, this is an interesting way to meet someone.''
''Yeah, I... I really like this girl. I fucked up, big time,'' Eddie rubbed his hands together, only concentrating on the carpet beneath their feet.
''Don't be too hard on yourself, son. Both of you were hurt, by someone else's actions.''
''I could've stopped it though, before it even happened. I should have just kicked Madeline out as soon as I saw her. I don't- I don't know why I didn't to that.''
''People pleaser,'' Wayne smirked. ''Look, just give if a few days I say. You'll have time to process everything and think about what you really want. You have to evaluate your life, your career and find out where she fits in. I'm sure she's thinking the same thing. She has her own life and aspirations, if she wants to be with you, she'll have to make difficult choices, too.'' Wayne put a hand on Eddie's shoulder, squeezing it. Eddie looked at him and nodded along.
''So what should I do?''
''Well, if you want romantic advice from an old grump like me,'' Wayne chuckled, ''You should tell her how you feel and see what she thinks. If you let this go, you might regret it for the rest of your life. Take it from me...''
Eddie looked at his uncle, eyebrows raised in disbelief. ''You? I had no idea you-''
Wayne waved him off. ''It was ages ago, kid. Don't make the same mistake I did, is what I'm saying.''
Eddie nodded in response, taking everything in. ''Thank you. You're still coming tonight, right?'
''Wouldn't miss it for the world.''

Things were looking up. After meeting with Julie, things were looking up. Eddie couldn't break his contract or obligations, but Julie did manage to postpone the rest of the shows so he and the band could have three weeks off to recharge. After the second show, Eddie spent the next day catching up with Wayne, showing him the city. He was sad when his uncle had to fly back, but grateful they had rekindled their relationship, Eddie promised to keep in touch and he had been keeping his promise.
Right now though, he was on his way to get coffee, and something else. He was as incognito as he could get, hoodie pulled over his head, glasses perched up his nose. He hadn't spoken to you for a week and it was like his lifeline was draining. He'd gone by the shop once before, a couple of days ago but instead of going in, he walked straight past when he noticed you were at the counter. Today though, he would walk straight in, whatever happened. And he did, walking up to the empty counter, his heart threatening to burst out of his chest.
''She's not here,'' a voice called from his right. Eddie turned to see the same girl he already met, Robin, standing with two empty coffee cups. She didn't look pleased to see him, unlike last time.
''I'm actually here to see you.''
''Oh? Why's that?'' she rounded the counter, putting the cups down and leaning on her hands, staring him right in the eyes.
Eddie felt like he was under a spotlight, fidgeting with his ringed fingers. ''I-I need your help. Please.''
''With what?''
''To get Y/N back.''
Robin scoffed. ''What about your girlfriend?''
''I don't have a girlfriend,'' Eddie defended. ''I'd like one, though.''
That made Robin's cold façade falter and she sighed. ''Fine.''
Eddie recoiled, looking around if he was being pranked. ''Really?''
''Yeah, dumbass.'' Robin rolled her eyes. ''She's sad and it's your fault, but-.''
''I know, I know,'' he rushed out, holding his arms out. ''I ruined everything and I'm trying to fix it. But I need your help.''
''Don't interrupt me,'' she scolded and Eddie mumbled a sorry, looking like a kicked puppy. ''Like I was saying, she's sad and it's your fault, but she misses you, I can tell. I'm only doing this for her, not for you. So what do you need?''
''I'm not sure, exactly. Something that would help me get on her good graces again. What are her favorite flowers, for example?''
''Tulips, white ones. How do you plan on delivering these to her anyway?''
''I was hoping you'll tell me where she lives?'' Eddie pleaded.
Robin bit her lip, thinking about it, then groaned into the empty café. ''If I'm going to reveal her address, you're going to have to go all out. I was planning on giving it to her for Christmas, but this will definitely get you on her good side. She has a record player at home, she's been looking for a vinyl of R.E.M.'s 'Out of Time' album, but she hasn't found it yet. I'm sure someone of your.. occupation can get hands on that in no time.'' She also took a piece of paper and wrote down your address and apartment number.
''Thank you!'' Eddie beamed brighter than the sun, turning to leave. ''Whatever you need - I owe you big time.''
''Free entrance for life, Eddie!'' Robin called from behind him.

Tiredly dragging your feet up the stairs, you hauled two grocery bags behind you, plus a tote bag over your shoulder. After an entire day of walking around, your boots felt heavier than usual, your feet sore and back aching. Reaching the final step, you stopped in your tracks when you saw a figure standing in front of your door, sulking in the darkness of the hallway. You relaxed a bit when you saw the outline of long hair. He noticed you too, standing straight where he was leaning on the concrete wall.
''Hi,'' he said quietly. You took a few steps closer and dropped the bags next to your feet, searching for your keys. Pushing the key in, you unlocked your door and stepped in, flicking the light on.
''Hi,'' you turned to look at him, keeping the door open, your heart swooning at the white tulips he was holding, a long with what seems to be a vinyl record. ''Can you grab the bags?''
Eddie managed to get all the bags into your kitchen without dropping anything.
''Thank you,'' you whispered, leaning against the counter, your hands tied together. ''What's that?''
Eddie looked at the things he was holding and handed the flowers first. ''They're for you.''
You took the flowers from him and inhaled the bouquet. You grabbed a vase and filled it with water, popping the flowers into it.
''I also got you this,'' he held out the vinyl and you saw it was the album you had been wanting for a while. You expected Robin to give it to you for Christmas, actually.
''Eddie, I-. How did you know about this?'' You took the record from him, hugging it to your chest.
''Robin told me,'' he smiled bashfully, rubbing his neck.
''Of course she did. I don't know what to say. Thank you, so much.''
There was a brief awkward pause where Eddie didn't know what to do, neither did you. Should he leave? Should you offer him tea or coffee? You kept staring at the floor and Eddie looked at everywhere but you. When the thick silence was stretched long enough, it seemed to shake Eddie out of his trance, he reached his hand out but quickly lowered it again.
''I'm... I'm really sorry for what happened. You were right to get upset. I should have handled things better, but I fucked up. I never meant to hurt you and I'm so, so sorry. I like you, a lot, and I can't stand the fact this might be over before it even started. You're kind, funny and so beautiful it hurts. I know I've already asked you this once, but I'm asking again - please, give me one last chance.''
You looked at him, really looked at him for the first time. His big, stunningly brown eyes, that held so many emotions, you could only pick up a few - fear, sorrow, maybe hope. Perfect nose with a thin gold hoop through the left nostril, plump lips with the sharpest cupid's bow and possibly the greatest head of hair you'd ever seen. His dark brown mane was framing his face, bangs shielding his eyebrows, the soft waves falling onto his shoulders. Black leather jacket with a red flannel underneath, another crisp white shirt peeking out underneath. Simple black jeans and combat boots, three heavy rings on his left hand, one simple ring on the other.
You'd called him pretty before, but he was so much more in real life. He was soft and inviting, but with an edge to him. You felt a pull towards him, you wanted nothing more than to put the record down and jump into his arms. It was hard to look away from his awaiting eyes, so you turned your back to him, placing the vinyl on your kitchen counter.
''Eddie, I forgive you. I understand it wasn't your fault, but I'm not sure if we would work. Romantically speaking...''
''What? Why would you think that?''
You turned to face him again, your throat constricting when you tried to speak. ''I-I just... You're you and I'm me. We live completely different lives. I'm not interested in a long distance relationship.''
''I get it, I've thought about that too,'' he took a step closer ''but we can make it work. I have two weeks off right now and when we finish the rest of the tour, I'm going to take a long break, months long. Shit, maybe even a couple of years. I want to make this work, if you'd let me. I want to take you out on dates, show you the world, see you on the side of the stage when I'm back on it some day.''
Eddie took his hand and gently placed it on your neck, his thumb rubbing the apple of your cheek when you closed your eyes to the touch. ''I'm scared.''
''You don't have to be scared, I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere if you don't want me to,'' Eddie whispered, you could feel his face leaning closer to you so you opened your eyes, hypnotized by the brown irises staring back at you. His eyes dipped down to your lips for a second, then came back again.
''I don't want you to go,'' you whispered, gripping the edge of the counter behind your back.
''Yeah? What do you want then?'' His nose brushed yours, lips so close you could already feel the warmth of his skin.
''You.''
Eddie's lips finally brushed yours and everything else faded away. It was just the two of you, in the middle of your kitchen, diving into the unknowns. The kiss was feather light, like he was afraid to have more, fearing you would pull away too soon. But you craved more, so you grabbed the back of his neck and drew him closer, earning a soft hum from him. Eddie's other hand found your waist, circling it with new found confidence and holding you close. His lips massaged yours, poking his tongue out to run it over the seam of your mouth. Granting him access, you let out a tiny moan when he happily licked into your mouth.
He whined when you pulled away too soon. ''About that date you mentioned...''
''Yeah?'' he asked, settling his forehead against yours, stealing one more quick kiss.
''I was planning on staying in tonight, just hanging out. W-would you like to stay? I could make dinner and later we could watch a movie, or something.''
''That sounds perfect.''
.•♫•♬•
Eddie helped you put all the groceries away. He'd shrugged off his leather jacket, hanging it by the front door. You'd agreed to have pasta for dinner and once the noodles were boiling on the stove, he watched you wrap a few early Christmas presents, ones that you pulled out of your tote bag. He realized that being with you like this was the easiest thing ever, you settled into small talk easily, Eddie making his way around your kitchen like it was natural. He imagined this could be his reality and he didn't mind that idea, not one bit. He'd strain the pasta once it was done and tell you about his uncle, you'd finish taping up the last present and tell him about a crazy customer you had at the café. It was simple, but perfect.
You handed him plates from a cabinet and he set the small table by your window for two. You set the lighting right and lit a scented candle in the middle of the table. The meal went by slow, you were doing more talking than eating that by the time you were both done, the last bites were ice cold.
''This was great, thank you,'' Eddie offered.
You simply smiled in return and took his hand, bringing him along to the living room area. Plopping down on the couch, you pulled Eddie next to you and settled in comfortably, laying a blanket over your figures. You put on Netflix and handed him the remote, pulling your knees up. Eddie subtly stretched his arm out over the back of the couch, scrolling through various movie options when he felt you lean into him.
''What do you want to watch?'' he smiled to himself.
''Hmmm...'' you thought about it. ''The Grinch?''
''It's November.''
''So? My holiday season starts November 1st!'' you defended, pouting your lips at him.
Eddie snickered and kissed your forehead. ''Okay, okay. The Grinch it is.''
The movie started and you relaxed into his side. While your eyes were glued to the TV screen, Eddie's were wandering around. He wasn't subtle with his gawking either, memorizing all of the features on your face. Your eyes, nose, slightly parted lips, your elongated neck that was begging to be kissed, your perfect chest moving up and down with your steady breathing. He definitely shouldn't be staring, he felt like a creep but he couldn't look away either. He was brought out of his bubble when you shifted a little bit, placing your hand on his thigh.
Eddie focused his eyes back on the movie, praying it will distract him enough not to grow hard just from your simple touch. However, he realized you might not be so innocent in your act as he first thought. Your hand crept upwards, sometimes squeezing. His breath hitched when your pinky grazed his crotch, causing him to involuntarily buck his hips. Taking the same hand that was around your frame, he turned your face towards him, his big hand enveloping nearly the entire side of your face. Without wasting a second, he kissed you, plunging his tongue into your mouth, swallowing your surprised moan. The kiss was sloppy, urgent, you tasted so good it made him dizzy.
''Tell me you want this as much as I do,'' he mumbled, your mouths still atttached.
''Please,'' you begged, discarding the blanket and flinging your leg over his waist, situating yourself on his warm lap. Eddie's hand came around your middle, helping you grind against his growing thickness. You threw your arms around his neck, kissing him passionately. Eddie slid his hands lower, grabbing two handfuls of your ass, leaving your mouth to focus on your neck. He bit your skin, smoothing the ache with his tongue right after. The thought of him marking you up, so you had to wear turtlenecks to work, drove him wild. He mapped out your neck, proud of the already blossoming pink patches, then dipped lower to lick a stripe from your throat down to the valley between your breasts. You gasped when he yanked down the neckline of your tank top and licked the top of your boob, switching to give the other one the same affection.
Eddie grunted in annoyance when your bra stopped him, looking up at you with questioning eyes. Once you nodded in approval, he pulled down the cups of your balconette bra, almost going cross eyed when your supple breast fell out.
''Fucking perfect, baby,'' he groaned and took one of your nipples into his mouth, rolling his tongue around the bud, sucking it harshly before letting it go with a 'pop'.
''Ed, please'' you yanked on his hair to get his attention.
''What do you need? Tell me, honey.''
''Need you, hurry up.''
Eddie smirked and helped you up, pushing your shirt up this time so he could kiss your stomach, dipping his tongue into your bellybutton. His fingers made quick work of your pants, popping the button and dragging the zipper down, ''Okay?''
''Yes,'' you pulled your top over your head and let it drop to the floor. Sneaking your fingers back into his hair, Eddie's eyes rolled to the back of his skull when you scratched your nails across his head. He helped you out of your pants, then ran his hands along your thighs, spreading your legs more. Wrapping his hands around your thighs, his rings were cool against your heated skin when he pulled you closer to him. He pushed his face into your covered mound and inhaled deeply, letting out a satisfied hum.
''Can I?'' he asked, hooking his fingers into your panties, not yet slipping them down until he had your permission. ''Need to see it, baby. Been dreaming of this pussy for so long.''
''Please,'' you pleaded once again, running your fingers along his jawline. He placed a quick kiss on your palm, then dragged down the last piece of fabric separating him from your pussy, the lace sticking to your core. You stepped out of them and Eddie lifted one of your legs, planting your foot on the armrest of the couch, giving him the perfect view of your wet cunt.
“Oh, it’s dripping, sweetheart. This all for me? Not sure I deserve it.” Eddie took his sweet time, kissing your pubic bone and tonguing between your legs, but avoiding your centre completely.
“Please, Eds, stop torturing me.”
“‘m sorry, babe. Just wanted to savor this. Let me make it up to you.”
He finally poked his tongue out, tasting you for the first time. Your hips bucked into his face when he took a tentative lick through your folds, the tip of his tongue flicking your swollen clit. From the first taste of your nectarine, Eddie was addicted. His enthusiasm only increasing, he lapped at your pussy, dipping his wet muscle into your tight hole, feeling it suck him in immediately. Going back for your clit, he closed his mouth around your bud and sucked harshly.
“Fuck, that’s so good,” your head thrown back, you grinded your hips against his face. You felt his hand sneak up your thigh, his fingers circling your opening before pushing his middle finger in all the way until you felt the cool metal against your flesh.
“So fucking good, you’re doing so good for me. This little cunt is sucking me right in, can barely fit. Think you can take two, baby?” Adding his ring finger, Eddie struggled to make it fit. He wondered how his cock would fit if his fingers had difficulty. Eventually, your walls relented and let him fuck up into you. The divine taste of you still present on his tongue, he worked you open with his digits and dove back in to flick your clit up and down in quick motions. He could tell you were getting close, your moans were getting more high pitched, your breathing erratic and your toes were curled. A couple minutes later, you moaned loudly and released all over his tongue which he eagerly lapped up, not letting a single drop go to waste.
He helped you sit back on his lap, your head resting against his shoulder, puffs of air hitting his neck whilst he was rubbing your back. “You good?”
“Good, great, amazing…” you breathlessly replied.
“Was it better than in your book?”
“I mean it was real, so yeah.”
He let you gather yourself for a moment, just holding you, although the erection he had was becoming unbearable. Eddie felt your lips skim his neck, leaving soft butterfly kisses in your wake. You bit down on his earlobe, running your tongue over it to soothe the small ache. Eddie let his head fall back, looking at you through hooded eyelids as you reached behind you to unclasp your bra, letting it fall on the couch.
“This is unfair. I’m completely naked but you’re still dressed,” you pouted and ran your hands along his chest, popping the buttons of his flannel.
“Better help me out then,” he smirked, kneading your ass as you continued to unbutton his shirt, kissing every new inch of skin you revealed. Soon, his shirt was on the floor and you were working on his belt. Once his pants were open, your hand dipped under his boxers to run a finger over his cock, tracing a vein on the underside. He lifted his hips so you could pull his pants and underwear down enough to free his throbbing cock from it’s cage. It bounced up, against his stomach, leaving a sticky mess in his happy trail. Eddie groaned when you wrapped your hand around him, pulling back his foreskin to reveal his slit, pre cum leaking from the tip, which you used as lube. You started to climb down, but Eddie stopped you.
“Not this time, princess. Tonight’s all about you. You got a condom? I didn’t really prepare for this.”
You got up from his lap and jogged to your kitchen, Eddie watching your ass juggle. You opened your medicine drawer and searched around until you retrieved the foil packet. Eddie took it from you, ripping it open with his teeth and rolling it on, all the while keeping eye contact with you as your eyes were focused on his lap.
“C’mere.” He held his hand out for you. You grabbed it and took your place back on his lap, his cock situated perfectly between your folds. He grabbed the base of his cock and rubbed the tip through your lips, gathering the wetness. He positioned the tip at your entrance and waited.
“Whenever you’re ready,” he breathed.
You grabbed his shoulders and sank down on him, inch by inch until there was no space left between you and you had taken all of him.
“Eddie, oh my God,” you moaned, fingernails pressing into his shoulders, leaving behind crescent moon shapes.
“So tight, Jesus Christ.”
Eddie was already seeing stars, he had to focus all of his remaining energy into not coming right this second. Your warm walls enveloped him, pulsing around his shaft. You rose up and slammed back down again, already accustomed to the stretch.
“You’re so perfect, fuck. Taking me so well,” he praised, hands grabbing your waist, helping you bounce on his dick.
You whimpered. “Keep talking.”
“Oh yeah? You love it when I talk like this, baby? That get you all riled up? Look at you, working my cock like that. Feels so fucking good, doesn’t it?”
You nodded and bounced harder, your rhythm faltering. Eddie slouched down lower on the couch, anchoring his feet to the ground and started fucking into you.
“Fuuuck, good girl. Letting me use you like this, like a fucking fleshlight. You’re just a little cock hungry whore, huh? Are you just a hole for me to use however I please? Your pussy is mine now, say it. Who’s pussy is this?”
“I-it’s yours, Eddie, only yours.”
“Damn right. It is mine, I’ll fuck it whenever I want. Stretch your cunt out so good, you’ll beg me to go easy on you. But you don’t want easy, do you? You want it rough. Fuck.”
“Don’t stop, please, please, please,” one of your hands slipped between your legs, toying with your clit.
Eddie grunted at the sight, wrapping both of his hands around your throat, squeezing your neck enough to make you lightheaded. “Yeah, play with that clit, rub it for me. Can still taste you on my tongue, you want to know what you taste like?”
He pulled you in, smashing his lips against yours, his tongue meeting yours in the middle. The kiss was messy, spit drooling from the side of your mouth. Your fingers sped up, your pussy clenching down on him harder and harder. Eddie felt his own stomach twist up as well.
“You close, baby? I need you to cum, fuck. I’m so fucking close.”
“I’m so- Fuck, oh my God Eddie, I’m coming, I’m coming!” You cried out, tears streaming down your face, the drops falling onto Eddie’s forearm. He was close behind, feeling his balls tighten up in a telltale sign. He groaned into your mouth and jerked his hips a few final times before releasing into the condom.
Both of you breathing like you’d just ran a marathon, Eddie let go of your neck, the red and purple skin left behind almost enough to get him hard again. You fell forward on his chest, resting your head against his shoulder, catching your breath. Eddie thrashed his legs around, shoving his boots and pants off. He stood up, taking you with him. You squealed and wrapped your legs around his waist, his cock slipping out of you.
“Bedroom?”
You pointed him in the right direction and he took careful steps, mindful of the clothes laying around. Once in your bedroom, he gently placed you on the bed, kissing your temple. When you didn’t let go, he chuckled.
“Be right back, promise.” He helped you under the covers and disappeared back into the hallway, looking for a bathroom. When he found it, he discarded the condom and washed his hands, eyeing the couple of lovebites you’d left on him. When he made it back to you, you were already asleep. Eddie crawled next to you, pulling you tightly against his front, settling his hand on your waist, lazily drawing random shapes on your tummy until sleep took him, too.
.•♫•♬•
It was raining again, the patter on the windowsill lulling you from your sleep. You were warm and cozy, limbs tangled with someone else’s. You’d almost forgotten about last night, thinking it was a fidget in your imagination. But Eddie proved to be real when he stirred behind you, his deep sigh hitting the back of your neck, one arm hugging you closer to his body. You hummed, reaching behind you to grasp his neck. Memories of last night came flooding back, reminding you of the delicious ache between your legs.
“Morning beautiful,” a low, raspy voice sounded from behind you, goosebumps spreading across your skin. Christ, you could get used to hearing his morning voice every day.
“I don’t remember the last time I slept this good,” you mumbled.
“You need to sleep with me every day, then,” he said, squeezing your hip.
You snorted. “You wish.”
He pressed a kiss to your shoulder, his lips moving against your flesh. “I do.”
You turned to him, his baby cow eyes already staring back at you. You were trying to see any deception in them, but all you saw was adoration and honesty.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” you gulped, bottom lip caught between your teeth.
“It means I want you.”
“Really?”
“Yes, really.”
“How would that work? I can’t follow you around everywhere you go.”
“I know that and I don’t expect you to, even though it would be cool. What I do know, is this - I’m taking a long break and I want to be with you, every single day. After that too, I’m not going to dump you when I have to go on stage again if that’s what you’re worried about. We’ll figure everything out. So if you’d have me, I promise I will work my ass off every day to prove to you that you’re not making a mistake.”
“Eddie… I don’t know what to say.”
“Say yes,” he begged “Be mine. Would you be my girlfriend?”
You laid your hand on top of this, the one still holding your hip. Your heart was beating so fast, you thought it would explode any second. You had a moment to think about all the roads this relantionship could take you, expecting it to end horribly. But even with the potholes and wonky curves, you saw yourself ending up where you belonged - with him.
“Yes.”
His lips covered your before you even finished that word. You felt him smile into the kiss, he was putting everything he had into it. His tongue grazed the seam of your lips, asking for access which you happily granted. He moaned when your tongue met his, his nose ring brushing your nostril.
His fingers skiddled across your hip to the curve of your ass, squeezing your butt. He broke the kiss too soon for your liking and violently pushed you back on your side. Eddie kissed a line down your spine, then licked a fat stripe back up, ending at the base of your neck. Your whole body shivered in anticipation, core getting slick with excitement. Eddie continued his assault, burying his face in the crook of your neck, breathing in deep.
His cock was pressed against your ass, a smudge of liquid dripping down. The hair on his abdomen tickling your lower back. You whimpered when he gripped one of your breasts, circling his thumb over your areola, then pinching your nipple until it was perked up.
''Eddieee...'' you whined, kicking your legs.
''Need somethin', darling?'' he traced the tip of his nose on the shell of your ear, his palm sliding from your breast all the way down, his thick fingers slipping through your dewy folds. Bringing his fingers back up, he circled your clit with his middle finger, barely adding any pressure, chuckling when you bucked your hips to get more friction.
''Need you so bad, please,'' you mewled, grinding your ass against his crotch, getting a hiss out of him.
''Condom?'' he asked, adjusting his hips, so his cock nestled directly between your legs, swaying his hips back and forth, the head of his cock parting your folds, bumping your clit with every stroke.
''My boyfriends don't need to wear one.''
''Fucking Christ,'' he let out a deep groan, lining himself up with your weeping hole and pushing inside, sliding to the brim in a single thrust. You choked on a moan, his cock was so deep, you could feel him in your throat. He stilled for a moment, letting you adjust, his mushroom tip bruising your cervix.
''Move,'' you cried, gripping his forearm that was resting against your belly, his fingers massaging your flesh.
He pulled back all the way and slammed back in, not bothering to be polite. You still weren't 100% adjusted to his size, but the burn mixed with the way his cock pierced your insides was euphoric. It was embarrassing how close you were already, but you blamed it on the early morning, you were always more sensitive in the early hours of the day.
''Feel so fucking good, baby. You like my bare cock fucking you like this? You gonna let me come inside too? Fill your sweet pussy up, have it leak out of your abused cunt all day, huh?''
You were too far gone to reply, the only sounds in the room your moans and Eddie's groans mixed with the wet slapping of skin against skin. Eddie was a talker though, never shutting up about how good you felt, how perfect you were for him.
''You were made for me, this pussy was carved for my dick. You're mine, only mine. Mine to fuck, mine to use, however I want. God, fuck. You're gonna make me come already. You gonna let me fill you up, baby? Shoot my fat load so deep in your pussy, you're gonna fucking taste it.''
''Y-yeah, please... Come inside me, please. Wanna feel it, Eds.''
''Fuck, I'm coming, baby. Come with me, come on.'' His thrusts were faster, sloppier, he was losing his rhythm. You were so close too, but needed the extra push so you gripped his wrist and pushed his hand lower. He caught on immediately, roughly circling your puffy clit with two fingers. It was enough to send you over the edge, both of you losing yourselves to the pleasure, Eddie spurting his cum inside of you, your mixed juices leaking down your thigh.
When you came down, Eddie pecked your cheek. He went to pull out, but you stopped him. ''Just stay, wanna be like this for a minute.''
''Whatever you want, princess. I'm all yours.''

December 25th. One of your favorite days of the year. The ground was white, more snow falling behind the window, illuminated by the streetlamps outside. You were so full of amazing food, a little tipsy on raspberry punch. Christmas celebrations started yesterday, when you and Eddie flew out to Indiana to spend Christmas Eve with his uncle, Wayne. He was as sweet as he was in the stories Eddie had told you, if not more. There wasn't a moment where you weren't smiling, looking at the two of them bickering over Eddie's high school days.
You flew back this morning, where you spent the entire day preparing for Robin and Cherry to come over. Tomorrow you would go to your parents' house, which Eddie was super nervous about. The evening was spent with good food and drinks, smooth Christmas music coming from a portable speaker, great conversation. When the girls finally left, it was close to midnight. Eddie had asked you to dance, now the two of you were swaying to the music in front of your Christmas tree, decorated with ornaments, fake snow and at the very top, instead of a typical star, with a paperclip, was a polaroid selfie of you and Eddie, taken a week ago in front of the same tree.
''In case I haven't told you yet, you look so beautiful tonight.''
Your arms were linked around his neck, Eddie's arms wrapped around your waist. You followed his lead, heads close together, breathing in each other's air. You were wearing a rich purple dress with black stockings, with simple make up accentuated with a pair of earrings Eddie had gifted you this morning. And yes, they were drop earrings with sliced kiwis at the bottom. Where he had even found them, you had no idea, he refused to tell you. You had given him a pack of guitar picks, with his initials engraved on them.
''First of all, only tonight?'' you teased. ''Second, you've told me about fifty times today, but I'm not tired of hearing it yet.''
''Hmm.. Can I tell you something I haven't, yet? Something I've been wanting to say for a while now.''
Your heart skipped several beats, mouth going as dry as cotton balls. You had a feeling of what he wanted to say. You had been thinking the same thing recently, but you hadn't found the right moment to say it. Today, it had been nagging on your mind specially hard. True to his word, you and Eddie had spent nearly every day together, except for that one day where you had the flu and told him to stay away so he wouldn't get sick either. He survived one day until he came banging on your door, begging you to let him in so he could take care of you. He had basically moved in since that first night you spent together. You had made room in your dresser for his clothes, his toothbrush was next to your in the bathroom, the fridge was filled with his favorite drinks. It was fast, clearly, but you wouldn't have it any other way.
''O-okay,'' you gulped.
''I love you, Y/N.'' he breathed out, like a weight leaving his shoulders, but immediately rushed out, ''You don't have to say it back, I just felt like I was about to burst if I didn't tell you. You're so amazing and perfect and gorgeous, I'm so happy you're mine and I'm so in love with you I honestly might die if you don't feel the same, but like I said, no press-''
You cut his rambling off by grabbing his face in your hands and smashing your lips together, tears running down your face. Eddie secured his arms around you and pulled you so close, your feet were hanging in the air. You pulled away, your lipgloss having transferred to his mouth, his eyes sparkling. ''I love you too, Eddie.''
''Yeah?''
''Yeah, so much.''
You squealed and laughed when he lifted you up and spun you around, your hair flowing. He put you down, kissed the top of your head and held you so tight you were struggling to breathe, but you didn't dare tell him that. You felt safe and truly loved, securely caged in his arms, smiling into his dress shirt while you slow danced the night away.

Tumblr media
Returning to the hotel room, you sat on the bed. Your mind flicked through the night's events, and of all of them, you just couldn't shake the thoughts of Eddie in that wet white shirt. The thoughts sent your stomach twisting and turning, and heat pooled between your legs. It had been a long time since you thought of a man this way, and you struggled to remove the thoughts from your mind.
You took your shoes off, kicking them across the room with a thud. Lying back on the bed, you slowly moved your hand toward your pants. Your heart was racing as you thought of what it would be like if he touched you. You closed your eyes, thoughts of him moving onto the bed and nestling himself between your tights played in your mind as your hand broke past your waistband.
“Eddie.”
His name left your lips as your fingers breached your underwear, the heat radiating out. Your pussy throbbed, desperate to be touched. Your hand crept lower, moving closer to the slick heat. Your finger reached for your clit, about to begin rubbing when someone knocked at your door.
Your hand came out of your pants far quicker than it had gone in, you sat up and stared at the door for a moment. You weren't expecting anyone, why would there be someone there?
Getting up, you cautiously walked to the door and opened it like you were a criminal.
“Good evening, this was dropped off for you at the front desk.”
It was Jonathan, holding a box.
“I didn't order anything.”
“No? Well, Eddie was very insistent that you got this while it was still warm.”
Jonathan handed you the box, with a knife and fork.
“Have a good night.”
“Yeah, you too.”
You hardly mumbled as you stepped into the room and shut the door. Sitting the box down, you opened it and found the lasagna you ordered at Enzo’s sat there in perfect condition still piping hot along with some garlic bread.
“Holy fuck.”
The lasagna was delicious and the bread, you'd cleared your bed off and sat and ate it while watching reruns of your favourite show. You'd found yourself fiddling with Eddie’s ring as you watched your favourite characters fall in love for the millionth time. Somewhere between their first night together and their first fight, you fell asleep, the last couple of days catching up with you.
Tumblr media
The morning came far too quickly, the light shining through the thin curtains causing you to groan. Such a nice sleep, (a rare occurrence for you) but welcomed all the same. The sound of your phone buzzing made you sit up, your fiancé’s face on the screen. A moment of guilt bubbled inside you as you thought about last night's events and how you’d been nearly touching yourself at the thought of Eddie. Picking up the phone cautiously, you took a breath and answered.
“Hey babe.”
“Hey, there is my girl. How are you?”
“I’m good… you?”
“Going crazy, missing you. I was thinking I could come join you, what do you say?”
You desperately gripped onto the annoyed sigh that wanted to escape your lips, forcing a smile you tried to sound happy.
“I’d love that baby, but I’m here for work. I need to work.”
The lie fell so easily from your mouth, that you almost hated yourself for it.
“I know, but the wedding is so close and I miss you. The bed is so cold without you.”
“I miss you too, just a couple more days, I promise.”
Adam sighed, you could hear his frustration starting to bubble out. Of course, it was too much to ask for one phone call where he didn’t get angry at your job.
“Fine, your job is more important than our wedding, I get it.”
“Baby, no. I just have a deadline and I can't miss it. Once I’m done, me and you plus wedding plans okay?”
“Fine, I guess I can wait a few more days.”
“I love you.”
“You better.”
Adam hung up after that, and you sighed. You hated it when he was mad. Guilt was something that pooled inside you all too often.
Once you’d showered and got yourself ready for the day. You packed up your things, ready for Eddie to come meet you. Once you’d done the last-minute check that you had everything, you made your way down to check out. Walking to the desk, a different guy stood there, with long hair, smelled of weed and looked a little like he was in his very own little world.
“Hello? I want to check out please.” You said as you moved your hand to wave it in front of his face. Watching him come back to life, he looked at you and smiled. Handing him your key, you watched him as he typed on the computer and then looked at you.
“Your bill has already been paid, so there won’t be any charges on your card.” “What? But, no, who?” “Good morning.”
You couldn’t help but jump as you turned around and found Eddie standing there, rather close to you. Looking up at him, you found yourself swallowing hard as your mind went back to last night, all you could think about for a moment was how you were going to touch yourself to thoughts of him.
“Morning, did you?” “I did. How was dinner?”
“Very nice thank you, but you didn’t have to do that.”
Eddie grinned at you, shaking his head as he did. Reaching down, he picked up your bag he wasn’t even going to attempt to tell you that he wanted to. “Just say thank you.” “Fine, thank you, Eddie.” You said, watching him grin as he looked at you.
“You’re welcome. Come on, I have someone I want you to meet.”
Following him out to the car, a girl was sitting in the backseat, with wavy brown hair, and dressed rather smart.
“This is Nancy, I thought you could use some help with shops and things for your outfits so she’s going to come along.” Looking at Nancy, you smiled awkwardly.
“It’s nice to meet you.” You both said at the same time, only to let out a laugh. “Nance is a journalist, like the only one I can tolerate,” Eddie explained as he climbed in and started the car.
You found yourself fiddling, you’d assumed it would just be you and Eddie today. He said he’d tell you about what happened in Vegas, but yet he brought someone along. Was he going to tell you, or would you remain in the dark? You couldn’t help but think and worry. “Drop us here Eddie, you aren’t coming with us,” Nancy demanded after a while. “Come on, let's go get you some stuff.”
“Let me know when you’re done,” Eddie said looking at you, smiling gently you nodded. “And then we will talk, I promise.”
“I’m going to hold you to that Eddie.” You told him, before climbing out of the car and grabbing your bag.
Nancy led you to a small little store, that honestly sold the kind of things you’d wear. You couldn’t help but feel thankful as you stood looking over the different items of clothing. You could feel an awkward air hanging between the two of you and you didn’t like it one bit, glancing at her from time to time you noticed that she looked like she wanted to say something. “You know, I’ve never met a reporter that can hold her tongue.” You mused attempting to strike up a conversation.
“Sorry, it’s just… I dunno, I feel like I should be playing the protective friend card right now because Eddie means a lot to all of us, but at the same time, I want you to know that I loved your first book.” “You read it?” “Are you kidding? I have read it four or five times, I love it. Eddie borrowed it when he got here from Vegas, guess I now know why.” “You know it didn’t do very well.” “No, but it should’ve, it’s one of those unappreciated gems.” “Thank you, Nancy, that means a lot.”
“Are you working on the sequel?”  “I am, I’ll have to send you a copy when it’s done.” “I would love that!” Nancy said practically fangirling in the middle of the store, causing you to smirk.
“Can I ask you something?”
There was a moment that hung in the air right then and there like Nancy knew you were about to ask something that probably wasn’t going to be a fun conversation like the one about your book.
“Okay...”
“Were you friends with Eddie during the whole murder thing?”
The air hung thick as you started to pick up different outfits, Nancy was biting her lip hard unsure if she wanted to have this conversation with you.
“I was, only just though. My little brother Mike was good friends with Eddie. Eddie ran a DnD group in school and kind of took in little lost lambs, it was really cute. To me, at that point, he was just the guy that was repeating senior year for the third time.” Nancy explained as she picked up different things and showed you.
“So what happened?”
“I don’t know if we should be talking about this,” Nancy said as she placed down a dress.
“I can’t even get him to talk about Vegas, I just want to know. I know he didn’t do it.” You assured her as you draped another dress over your arm.
“Eddie used to sell drugs, wasn’t a proud moment. But he did it to help his Uncle Wayne, you met him yesterday right?” Nancy paused for a moment as you nodded. “Chrissy, she was going through a bit of a mental breakdown. Things at home were really bad, her boyfriend Jason was a complete asshole and she turned to Eddie, needing some form of escape.” Walking with you to the changing rooms, you nodded quietly as you listened.
“Anyway, it was the night of a big basketball game, Hawkins won and after instead of going with Jason, Chrissy left with Eddie. As you can imagine, he was pissed, majorly pissed.” Nancy continued. “Eddie and Chrissy finished their business, and Eddie offered to give her a ride home, she declined knowing she needed to go meet Jason and the others to celebrate. Eddie left to go and run a book to Dustin’s house and came back to find Chrissy murdered in his trailer.”
Stepping out of the dressing room, you looked at Nancy to get her opinion on the dress, and she nodded in approval.
“Anyway, at this point, the sheriff was this complete asshole. He and some of the other guys from the station didn’t like Eddie, they thought he was like his dad. They said he was a waste of space, they would pull him over for random searches and shit, even though Eddie saved one of their lives. The only one that was good to Eddie was Hopper, but he had moved to California with his girlfriend and their kids.”
Paying for your items, you walked out together and headed to a shoe store together. Your mind was racing over the thoughts of all that had happened to Eddie, and you weren’t even sure that you were halfway through the story yet. But it was something you were desperate to know.
“Anyway, Eddie ran. Freaked out, scared. He ran off and hid, can’t blame him really, the murder was gruesome and it terrified him. The police instantly thought it was Eddie and began this manhunt. But Dustin, as in the guy who is getting married, believed that Eddie was innocent. So he and a few of us went to find him, wanted to find his story. We found him way before the police were able to and kept him hidden. It was dangerous, but we all believed him, he wasn’t that sort of guy.”
The pair of you stopped trying on shoes, sitting together, you listened to her words and bit down on your lip, you felt so sorry for Eddie. He didn’t deserve this.
“Jason didn’t like that Eddie was hiding, he believed that Eddie had done something to Chrissy, well that was what it seemed like anyway. He started this hate campaign against Eddie and his friends in the Hellfire Club, and that is when more murders started happening, so many people were convinced it was Eddie. People started beating up Hellfire members, the club was cancelled, and there was a manhunt for Eddie.”
“They caught him eventually right?” You asked looking up at Nancy.
“Yeah, they caught him when he was trying to save Dustin from rubble after the earthquake. What they didn’t know at that moment though was our friend Max had been attacked and there was a witness this time. Two witnesses.”
Nodding gently, you looked over at Nancy wanting to know more.
“Lucas and Erica Sinclair, they saw it. They tried so hard to tell the cops that it wasn’t Eddie, but they wouldn’t listen, they were convinced that the evidence pointed to Eddie. It wasn’t until Hopper returned, that he listened to us and we managed to find out it was Jason that had done it, done it all. He was released, but never got an apology from those assholes though.”
“Poor Eddie, he went through a lot.” You say gently.
“He did, but things are better now. You know he offered to buy Wayne a house. He declined so Eddie brought the trailer.”
You couldn't help but smile, Eddie was a good guy, a really good guy. A goofy loveable good guy who seemed to win people's hearts pretty easily.
“Did you guys ever find out why Jason did it?”
“Yeah, he thought Chrissy was cheating on him with Eddie, blind rage. Then he killed a couple more to really frame Eddie. It's pretty sick and twisted.”
“Yeah, it is.” You mumbled gently as you looked at the shoes you'd just put on your feet. You couldn't help but feel sorry for Eddie, it must've been an incredibly hard time for him. At least he had friends to support him, that was something at least.
Finishing up the shopping, you said goodbye to Nancy and sent Eddie a text to let him know that you were done and heading back to the hotel to pick up your hire car and get it returned. Honestly part of you just wanted some time alone, you needed to think. It was a lot to take in and this deal that you'd agreed to felt like a heavy weight on your chest.
The walk did nothing to clear your head though, you were even more worried about it all by the time you reached your car. Getting inside, you called Jenny, you needed a pep talk and she was usually the one to help when you felt like this.
“Hey sweetheart, it's so good to hear from you. Are you okay?”
“I…” You pause, unsure what to say. Were you okay? No, not at all.
“I…”
“What's wrong sweetheart?”
“I'm… I'm scared. Everything is just so overwhelming.”
“Hey, come on, talk to me,” Jenny said gently.
You began to explain all about the deal, what had happened last night, and how you lied to Adam.
“Sweetheart, it's okay. Calm down, everything is going to be okay.” Jenny assured you with the usual calming voice.
“I have to go to a wedding with strangers, I don't know anyone.”
“It's okay, you'll be alright I promise you.”
“But…”
“Take it one step at a time, maybe start with finding out what happened in Vegas.”
“Okay, yeah you're right.” You said, sighing gently.
“If you need me I'm on the end of the phone okay? I'm always here when you need me.”
“Thanks, Jen.”
“Anytime. I can't wait till you come home.”
“Bye Jen.”
Hanging up the phone, you sat there for a moment. Silence washed over you as you stared down at your phone. Home, did you even want to go there anymore? What was home? You weren't even sure anymore.
Driving back to the rental lot, you filled out the forms and returned your car. Of course, now you were stuck with your shopping bags and had no idea where you were going, but at least it was raining, it could've been far worse if it had been.
“Hey,”
Looking up, you saw Wayne pull up beside you. You couldn't help but smile.
“Hey, Wayne.”
“Would you like a ride? I was heading to meet Eddie.”
“I would love one thank you, I have no idea where I'm going.”
Watching him lean over and open the truck door, you climbed inside and sat down.
“Thank you for this.”
“It's no problem, you're going to stay at his place right?”
“Uhh, yeah. How did you know?”
“He called me last night, and asked to stay on the couch.”
“Oh, I didn't mean to throw him out of his own home.”
“Eddie wouldn't have offered unless he wanted you to feel comfortable and he certainly does,” Wayne explained as you headed to Eddie’s.
“Still…”
“He wouldn't have you wasting your money at a hotel when you could stay at his place.”
“He seems like a pretty selfless guy.”
“He cares about people; it's one of his best qualities.” Wayne paused for a moment before carrying on. “He's not had an easy life. The name Munson doesn't carry much respect around here.”
“But he has people who care about him here, that is something right?”
“Yeah, it is.”
You fell into a comfortable silence, heading down the roads to Eddie’s place. You weren’t sure if you’d be able to remember this. But you hoped you could remember the way there eventually.
As the car came to a stop, you looked at Wayne and smiled gently.
“Come on then,” You said as you opened the car door.
“I just wanted to give you a ride. I didn’t want to see you struggling with those bags.”
You stared at Wayne as he admitted that he didn’t actually need to come here. Smiling gently, you leaned over and pressed a kiss to his cheek.
“Thank you, Wayne.” You said as you pulled away.
Climbing out of the truck, you grabbed your bags and waved at him as you watched him drive away. He was a good guy, and you couldn’t help but feel thankful you had met him. Turning around, you looked up at the house in front of you. A set of steps was in front of you that led up to a beautiful stained glass window front door. Biting down on your lip, you walked up to the house and knocked gently on the door.
The door flew open and Eddie grinned as he looked at you, reaching forward he took hold of your bags and moved so you could come inside. You looked around at the tall ceilings and beautiful wooden floors.
“This place is beautiful.”
“Thanks, it was pretty run down when I brought it. Me and my friends done it up.”
Your fingers ran along one of the high walls and you could feel him looking at you. It was almost as if you were unsure what to say to the other; it was incredibly awkward. You weren’t sure what to say. Your heart was racing seeing as you were alone with him.
“How many bedrooms?”
“Three.”  “So, why are you staying at the trailer park?”
“Wha- I mean… Wayne… I wanted to give you some space, and I’ve not spent time with him in a while.”
“He gave me a ride here.”
You told him as you looked at a picture of Eddie, and two other lads, one in a baseball cap and one with quite a lot of product in his hair.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah, he said he was coming to see you… he lied.”
You both let out a small laugh, he didn’t seem surprised by Wayne’s actions.
“When I was a kid after my Mom passed. I had this dream of having this wonderful family life with my father, but he didn’t have the same.” Eddie began as he stood beside you looking at a different picture, one of him and Wayne on Eddie’s graduation day.
“My dad would come take me home sometimes, we’d stay in our old family home. But then he’d go off drinking, Wayne would come to check on me and bring me back to the trailer park and I’d spend hours waiting for my dad to come pick me up.”
You stared at Eddie in silence as he spoke. Slowly you reached out and touched his hand.
“I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be, It took a while but then I realised that Wayne was the only family I needed.”
You smiled gently, Wayne seemed to have such an impact on Eddie, maybe that was why he was such a good guy, Wayne had helped him a lot.
“I grew up with a Dad, my mom died when I was young too. A car crash.”
You told him gently, biting down on your lip.
“I’m sorry, that couldn’t have been easy for you.”
“It was hard, but my dad was amazing.”
“Was it just the two of you?”
“Yeah, but… I have a brother, but he’s not by blood.”
“Sometimes that is the best way to have a family, the family I have these days only Wayne is my blood.”
“Sounds familiar, I have friends that are like family now. Jenny and her husband, they’re my best friends. I don’t know if you met Jenny.”
“Yeah, I did. She was nice, rather sweet.”
“Yeah, she is nice, she picks me up when I’m feeling down.”
You explained you missed Jenny, wishing that she was around. Why didn’t you ask her to come with you, it was a big mistake.
“Anyway, let's show you to your room.”
Following Eddie back to the hallway, you watched him pick up your bags. You moved to take them, but he swatted you away and smirked softly.
“I’m a gentleman.”
You laughed. It was a funny thought. Eddie Munson, the damn gentleman.
Following him upstairs, you glanced down at his butt as you went, biting the inside of your lip. He had such a nice butt, and you weren’t going to miss a chance like that to look at it. Looking up, you noticed him look back at you, almost like he knew what you were doing. Blushing, you looked away quickly and followed him to the largest room in the house.
“Here we are.”
He opened the door and you saw your bag sitting on the bed. Setting down your shopping bags, he looked at you with a grin.
“Do you want to get some lunch?”
You couldn’t help but wonder if Eddie smiled all the time, or if it was just when he was around you. Not that it would’ve meant anything, sure you were married, but that didn’t mean anything. None of this meant anything, you’d be back home soon enough.
“Hey, you okay?”
Looking up at Eddie, as you saw the look of concern in his eyes, you smiled and nodded.
“Lunch would be great… But, there is something I want to talk to you about first.”
“What is the matter?”
There was a tone in Eddie’s voice, that clearly said he was nervous.
“What happened in Vegas Eddie?”
His smile completely disappeared, and he stared at you with a nervous expression etched onto your face.
“You might want to sit down, it’s a long story.”
Taking a seat on the bed, you watched Eddie take a seat on a chair and begin to fiddle with the rings on his fingers. Silence fell across the room, as you sat waiting for him to start talking. Glancing up at him, he smiled an awkward smile.
“It started when I noticed you in the crowd...”

Would you do Princess Celestia for all of them? If not then just 🍼
Agere Character Ask Game
I did most of them, there's only three that I didn't do! I hope that's okay!
💛- How did they discover age regression?
Celestia meets a lot of other ponies, I imagine some of them would be age regressors too! I think she would find out about it through them, and maybe do more research into it on the side because it would definitely interest her.
📈- Age range?
She would likely regress anywhere between ages 9-12
🐾- If they also pet regress what to? (If they don’t pet regress what’s the favorite animal?)
I don't think she would pet regress, but I think her favorite animal is probably birds! She likes to fly with them when they allow it, especially when she's regressed. It feels freeing.
(More under the cut)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
💕- Do they have a caregiver?
Before Luna's return, no. Celestia would keep it a secret until Luna came back, and even then she would only share about it with Luna, who would care for her when she isn't regressed herself.
🧸- What’s their favorite toy/plushie/ect?
I think Celestia would really enjoy puzzles, mostly the simple ones. Its fun, but can be challenging when she's regressed, and its perfect for her. She has so many plushies at this point that its hard to pick a favorite!
👒- What do they like to wear when they’re regressed?
The comfiest pajamas she has - and definitely not her crown, it just reminds her of all her responsibilities!
🎮- What’s their favorite thing to do when they’re small?
Anything fun and void of responsibilities - especially things that require moving around a lot! Tag, racing, hide and seek, etc. She does also enjoy reading when she's too tired to play.
🍼- What’s their favourite age regression accessory/gear?
She has a little sippy cup with a sun on it, she's had it since she was a baby and it brings her so much comfort
✨- How are they different to their big selves when they regress?
She's a bit bratty, and definitely irresponsible. Not completely, but responsibility is seriously the last thing she would want to think about while regressed. She has a hard time getting anything done at all unless its very fun and doesn't require working.
🎨- What does their ideal playroom look like?
Rather than a playroom, Celestia would just prefer her normal bedroom. It already has everything she wants and needs to feel comfortable and have fun!
🧁- Favorite regression snack/meal?
Anything sweet! Especially cake. She eats so much cake.
🥳- A holiday that they love celebrating while regressed
Hearth's Warming! Its full of food, presents, love, and warmth! What else could she want? Its also the perfect time to spend with Luna, which makes it even better.
🤸- Do they have another regressor they play with?
Celestia definitely knows other regressors, but she would be too shy to play with them. She's afraid of what ponies may think of her if her secret gets out, so she would usually play by herself or with Luna.
🐬- What is their ideal play date/regression day like?
A day she can spend entirely with Luna, racing around and playing outside the entire time. When they get too tired and its time to go in, they could hang out together and take turns telling each other stories, scary or not. They could also play pretend until they end up falling asleep curled up together. Just like old times.
🔮- Do they like to play pretend?
Yes, very much! Before they were actually princesses, she and Luna used to pretend to be princesses all the time when they were younger. Now they enjoy playing as other things, including pirates, rockstars, you name it!
❤️- Who knows about their regression?
Princess Luna is the only pony Celestia trusts enough to tell about it.
🌧- What triggers their regression (negative)?
Too much work! She isn't overwhelmed extremely easily, but when she is, it becomes too much for her and she regresses. Sometimes thinking about the time Luna was sent to the moon will also overwhelm her, and trigger her regression just the same, desperately wishing she could go back to the time before that ever happened.
👾- Favorite game to play while regressed
Tag! She loves running and definitely has a lot of energy for it
🎭- Is their regression voluntary or involuntary?
A mix of both, sometimes in quiet moments she'll choose to regress on her own, but when she's overwhelmed it just happens.
🏳️‍🌈- Are they LGBTQ+ or neurodiverse (or any other pride you can think of!)?
I headcanon all ponies to be autistic so there's that, and Princess Celestia is also bi/pan!

hi! i love the entertainment fic :) can you please write the part when they are celebrating louis’ birthday together, from harry’s pov?
–––––––
Harry hears the front door open, then close.
He remains indifferent as he stirs the small pot with pesto sauce in it to keep it from burning. He, also, keeps his eye on the boiling noodles in the bigger pot. But he’s listening to Louis’s footsteps and the jingling of keys in his pocket.
“Okay, rockstar,” he hears Louis’s voice, becoming louder the closer he approaches. “I know I take care of everything, and I recognise that you live in the middle of no man’s land, but I didn't actually think I'd have to include a lesson plan on keeping your doors locked. Things happen, even out here.” He pauses, and although Harry keeps his vision on the food, he sees Louis in his peripheral lean against the counter beside him. He’s wearing his jean jacket, some grey band t-shirt on underneath, and pairing it with boyfriend jeans. “I mean, it's California.” Harry can’t help sparing him a brief look, anyhow, quirking an eyebrow as he stirs the pesto. He doesn't respond to Louis. Louis watches for a moment before pushing himself away from the counter to instead lean his hip against it. He sighs. “What are you doing?”
“Making dinner,” quietly and casually replies Harry. He turns the heat for the spaghetti off. “I thought we could eat while we plan. Are you hungry?”
Louis nods.
“Haven't had anything since lunch.”
Harry glances back at a cabinet somewhere behind Louis and points to it. “Do you mind grabbing plates for us and setting the table? They're in that cabinet.”
“Yeah, sure.” When Louis disappears, Harry takes the pot to drain the noodles. “Do you want a specific colour?” he decides to ask Harry.
“Um,” hums Harry over the sound of pouring hot water and wet noodles being dumped into a strainer. “Honestly? I'm feeling teal.”
As Harry finishes draining the noodles, pours pesto sauce on them and mixes them, and finishes the vegetables, he glances repeatedly, briefly, at Louis. He sees him with teal and olive green plates and sets them up on Harry’s table. He, also, tries offering help, but Harry shuts him down immediately, each time, and sends him to just sit at the table. His hands shake just a little bit when he puts each food back into their respective pots–the ends of his nerves are on burning ice and he can’t make himself look at Louis for very long, if at all. He’s just on edge for the truth he hasn’t told him, but he takes a silent breath to clear his head.
“Most of everything,” Harry says, after he’s set everything on the table and gently plops into the seat beside Louis.
Louis blinks up at him.
“What?”
Spooning noodles onto his plate carefully, Harry repeats, “Most. You take care of most things.” He offers the spoon to Louis with a small smirk ghosting his lips.
Louis breathes out a soft chuckle, taking the utensil from Harry.
He shakes his head in reply.
He waits until everything is on their plates to take off his jean jacket. Harry watches him remove paper from inside a pocket, then hangs it on the back of his chair. Louis unfolds it, glancing up at him. “I don't know what you've got planned,” he begins, “or anything, but I made a list, anyway, to help jumpstart ideas. You know Calista, so, I kind of presume you know what she likes. But—just in case.”
Tentatively, Harry takes the list Louis gives him. He swallows as invisible as possible, and his eyes roam over all of the ideas Louis’s written down: Frozen themed - extremely popular concept still; Pink strawberry theme; Typical animal zoo theme; the birthday party concepts keep going on and on, and the longer Harry continues reading the list, the more those icy ends of his nerves burn more. It becomes overwhelming for his chest, and–he has to tell the truth. There’s too much devotion and dedication in this list to keep his façade going. Leaning back into his chair, he finally gathers the courage to look at Louis, and says, “This list isn’t going to be useful. Don't be mad at me.” Eyebrows narrowing, a puzzled look comes across Louis’s face. “I lied to you.”
The fork in Louis’ hand halts.
He blinks slowly at Harry.
“What are you talking about?” he asks. “Why am I here, then?”
For a split second, Harry’s confidence wavers. There’s a hesitancy he can’t help having, and one he’s not used to controlling – and as observant as Louis is, he probably sees the moment he wavers. And the controlling side of Harry hates that possibility. But he looks Louis directly in the eye, runs a hand through his hair, and speaks in a quiet voice. “It’s your birthday in just a few days. I—I wanted to . . . give you some kind of celebration to show my”–the words continue getting stuck in his throat; he has to spit them out, to warm them up–“. . . appreciation for everything you’ve done.” He pauses, to gauge Louis’s reaction. He looks–unsure; wondering; still confused, albeit a little more understanding. “Look, I’m not the best at, uh—expressing my feelings for people. Not that I have feelings. But”—he rubs an eye with his knuckle, becoming frustrated with himself—“you know what I mean.”
He took Rachel’s advice, but maybe he went too far this time. He lied to get Louis to agree to this. He lied because he didn’t know any other way to go about this. He doesn’t know how to just–outright ask someone such a simple thing like hey, I want to celebrate your birthday, would you like to come over? And it’s far more awkward because he purposely hasn’t been the most pleasant to the exact person he wants to celebrate.
He’s trying.
Probably in his own twisted way, but he’s trying.
And the silence from Louis stretches for far too long – to the point Harry gets uncomfortable. But he doesn’t show it.
“I don’t know what to say,” Louis says, after some time, words just above a whisper.
“Say nothing,” Harry chooses for him. “Consider this a . . . I recognise your hard work, Louis. You’re always on time, prepared, and organised. I’ve never had to tell you how to do your job, and that takes a lot of pressure off of me. So, thank you.” That last part stings his throat when it comes out. But not in the wrong way. “Again, consider this a congratulatory party for two. Nothing more.”
Louis stares at him.
“How did you know?”
“Résumé,” Harry simply answers.
A small beat of silence.
Louis narrows his eyes at him. “I never put my age or date of birth on any résumé.”
“Résumé,” Harry repeats, intentionally curt.
Harry’s not going to tell him from which source he acquired the information from. He wouldn’t blow Niall’s cover like that. Niall had questioned him plenty enough when he had called him. Why do you want to know? Niall asked, even though he had already given the information to Harry. I just want to be nice, is all Harry answered with.
He wasn’t lying.
“Fine,” Louis replies cooly. “Creep.”
Harry puts on an unimpressed look, staring directly into Louis’s eyes as he chews his food. After swallowing, he says, “That’s a big accusation coming from someone I could fire.”
Louis smiles, smug.
“See, that’s the beautiful thing . . . you can’t fire me,” he retorts.
Harry shakes his head, and he fights the muscles in his face that are around his mouth that desperately are trying to lift his lips at Louis’s reply. He can’t let that happen. His mind races with other topics to bring; with other distractions.
“Listen,” Harry says, “I have a cake for you.”
“Where?”
Harry shakes his head again.
“We have to make it,” he tells him.
Louis looks cautious. “What flavour?”
“Chocolate.”
A pleasantly surprised look crosses his features. “That’s my favourite,” he says. “Lucky guess?”
“You could say that.”
Dinner continues quietly. The ends of Harry’s nerves have started to warm up, evaporating the icy burn and replacing it with a normal temperature. His heart stops beating inconsistently and begins functioning like a normal human being. However, the same icy feeling starts to show itself in Harry’s mouth; words flow uncontrollably out of his mouth. Harry’s not a talker. He knows how to talk. He knows how to respond to people, and how to maintain conversation, but he doesn’t generally start the conversations unless he has no choice. Louis looks a little amused by him, but he does his best to ignore it. He, also, tries to get Louis to talk about himself, so, that he has some semblance of control over his mouth, but it doesn’t work.
Harry notices Dolly sauntering into the kitchen in his peripheral as he loads the dishwasher. She has her mustard yellow turtleneck on still that Harry had put on her this morning, her collar matching impeccably. She comes right over to Harry and peers into the dishwasher, but Harry scratches behind her ear as a warning before gently swatting her away.
She mews loudly at him, offended, she wanders over Louis.
Harry rolls his eyes at her.
“Look what you've done,” Louis speaks up.
Harry looks over his shoulder at Louis as he messes with the controls on the top of the dishwasher.
Snorting, Harry opens a drawer and slings a clean dish cloth over his shoulder before making his way over to Louis. “She's just mad I wanted to keep her from hurting herself,” he tells Louis. “She'll come around in ten minutes and act like it never happened.” He lifts a hand and gently caresses Dolly’s neck. But Dolly tries to hide from him by burying her face into Louis's armpit.
Louis laughs, surprised.
“Oh, no.”
Harry just puckers his lips and gives her an air kiss, and chuckles, smiling. “She always comes back.”
Louis bends his head and drops his gaze to Dolly. Harry watches the gentle way he rubs the top of her head and the rest of her body. He’s so much more familiar with her than when he had first met Dolly. He had been jumpy, a little scared. Now, they’re friends. Harry turns his head away and walks to the pantry.
“So, I've got,” Harry begins, and stops. He grabs the chocolate cake box he sees hiding on the top shelf, and stretches his arm up to get it. The matching frosting container is nearby, and he grabs it, too. He reads the back of it before continuing speaking. “Chocolate frosting. And”—he draws out the word until Louis rolls his eyes, telling him to get on with it; Harry's composure breaks, a grin breaking across his face as he stammers out his words because of his breathy laugh—“could you get the eggs out, please?”
Louis probably thinks he’s annoying.
It’s all on purpose.
Louis squats down to release Dolly from his arms. She jumps out of his grip, but remains by his feet. He washes his hands, first, then puts the eggs he retrieved from the fridge on the island.
Harry comes up beside Louis who’s reading the instructions on the back very carefully, and just dumps the oil, cake mix box, and frosting next to the eggs
Harry finds his measuring cup, and gives it to Louis to use for the oil and water. Louis asks him senseless questions; if he wants to do the eggs, et cetera. Louis has him sniff the inside of the cake mix bake to see if it smells good. It’s very chocolatey. And while he lets Louis do whatever he wants with the cake, he searches through his playlist to find music to fill the silence, so, he doesn’t have to talk too much. He finds Louis a bowl, a pan to fit the mixture into, and preheats the oven.
Harry sticks his finger in the bowl last minute, making a pop sound upon releasing his finger from between his lips.
“That’s really tasty,” he says.
Louis’s unimpressed.
“Tell me that when you get salmonella.”
“Can't wait.”
Louis shakes his head.
As they wait for the cake to fully bake, they work together cleaning all of the dirty utensils and bowls. They clean the island. Dolly stays silently crowding their feet. Harry can feel Dolly rubbing her head against his ankles, then attempts to climb onto his feet to lay down on them. Harry internally sighs.
“Look,” murmurs Louis.
Harry hears a smile reflecting in his voice.
He doesn't remove his gaze from the whisk he's washing.
“I know she's there. I'm ignoring her.”
Then it happens very fast:
Harry feels a small puddle gather on his feet and the bottom of his pants that cling to his skin. He hears Louis’s shocked laughter, but he doesn’t look at him as he breathes in a sharp breath to calm himself. Every fucking time.
“She—”
Harry's eyes close in pain. “I know. I wish I could say this hasn't happened before.”
While Louis’s still giggling and picks Dolly up from his feet, Harry excuses himself to go change his pants, then reemerges to find Louis feeding Dolly from the palm of his hand.
Louis looks over his shoulder at Harry, a single eyebrow raised.
“Better?” he asks.
“No,” Harry answers immediately. He pulls out the chair beside Louis, turns it around to sit backwards in it. He crosses his arms on the back of it, and gives Dolly an annoyed look that she ignores entirely in favour of the food she nibbles on in Louis's outstretched hand.
Still highly amused, Louis smiles, looking at Harry. “She's fine. Why'd she do that?”
“She does it when I'm absent too much” Harry explains. “In her cat mind, she thinks if she vomits on me, I'll be forced to clean up after her and take care of her. I don't know. Cats are—they have strange minds. I just think it’s only my cat because she has anxiety problems.”
Closing his parted lips, Louis shifts his gaze over to Dolly. She's trying to bite down on a hard piece she got. Harry watches them both. “Did you want to, like, watch something?” Louis asks, glancing briefly at Harry. “While the cake bakes?”
Harry nods.
“What do you have in mind?”
Shrugging, once, feebly, Louis says, “I don't know. Maybe a movie? Comedies are nice.”
Harry stands from his chair, and pushes it back in normally. “It’s your birthday; you get all the privileges of picking and holding the remote.” He walks past behind Louis and into the front room, and sits down in the left corner of his settee.
After letting Dolly tackle the last couple of pieces of her cat food into her mouth, Louis picks her up and takes her with. He tucks his left leg underneath his right one when he sits down on the settee. There's a space between their bodies that isn’t too enclosed to make Harry uncomfortable; and he averts his gaze to the television, so, that he won’t continuously stare at Louis in his peripheral vision. He can’t keep doing that. He can’t keep–looking at him more than he needs to.
It’s dangerous.
Harry places the remote in Louis's outstretched palm.
Louis shifts through channels for too long; and when he enters Netflix, he spends too much time reading each and every description.
“By this rate,” says Harry, breaking their long held silence, “the cake will be ready before you settle on something.”
Louis turns his head, tilting his head in a look. “Well, I'm not much of a TV person, to be honest,” Louis admits. “What do you recommend?”
“I told you,” says Harry, staring straight at the television still, “your birthday, your choice. . . . But . . . if you really want a recommendation . . . There's Something About Mary is a very good romantic comedy.”
Louis blinks. “What's it about?”
“This guy Ted — Ben Stiller plays him — wants to reconnect with his old prom date back from high school he had a massive crush on, so, he hires somebody to track her down and . . . it's, like, really messy, but what rom-com isn’t? It's a hundred times better than it sounds,” Harry promises him.
Louis seems to consider it.
Then he nods.
“Sure. Let's watch that.”
Harry looks over his shoulder at Louis as he stands from the settee. “You sure?” he asks.
Harry kneels in front of his small but wide bookcase full of DVDs. He quickly looks over every case until he finds the one he’s looking for. Turning the player on and popping in the disc, he returns to his spot on the sofa. Harry’s seen this romcom a thousand times, so, though he keeps his eye on the television, he doesn’t try to catch up with everything that plays out. Instead, he listens to Louis’s laughter, and distracts himself by dragging his forefinger across his lips for something to do. When the stove timer goes off, he jumps up to get it, and Dolly follows behind him.
“It's done,” Harry calls out. After he puts the cake on the counter on top of a dish cloth, he tests the idle with a toothpick. When he looks up to see where Louis is, he finds him by Harry’s walls of picture frames, cradling Dolly in his arms as his gaze roams. Harry decides to act indifferent and let a hard feeling pass through his stomach, and raids through his pantry to find the frosting. “Louis. Where's the frosting?” Harry feels Louis come up beside him a moment later. “I gave it to you. Where could it have disappeared to?”
Taking a step back, Louis stretches an arm out to open the freezer door. He reaches in, and then he closes it to hold the small container of frosting towards Harry, in the air. “Right here,” he says, wiggling it when Harry looks at him, gaze falling on the container. “I put it in the freezer.”
Harry pauses, lips parting. “Why did you put it in the freezer?”
Louis raises both brows at him in a way that the answer should be obvious. “Because room temperature frosting is disgusting? It's only good when it's cold.”
Gently, he tosses it on the island.
Harry's eyebrows pull together as he steps back and pulls the pantry door closed. “Uh—I hate to inform you, but frosting is good no matter what temperature it is,” he says in a vaguely defensive voice.
“Now you're just being gross,” comments Louis, looking briefly at Harry when he situates himself in front the cake, his lightheartedness subtle. Harry chooses to just busy himself with removing the cake from the pan, turning his back to Louis. “Oh, no.”
Harry turns around.
“What?” Harry asks.
He sets the plate full of cake beside Louis on the island and peeks at what Louis has in his hand.
Louis turns his body in an angle, towards Harry, and demonstrates the issue. Holding a knife in his hand to scope some of the chocolate frosting out, he goes at it — but he's stopped, and it's impossible to get any, because the knife is met with nothing but brick. “It's frozen,” Louis says.
Harry blinks a few times.
“Really?”
“Shut up,” he retorts. He glances around before walking over to a cabinet to retrieve a bowl. “Couldn't we use a microwave? Unless you're willing to wait an hour for it to thaw. I know I rather not.” Setting the bowl down, next to the frosting, Louis takes it in his hands and attempts to shake it out into the bowl first. Harry just watches him – and he pauses for a second, because he notices a small freckle on the upper part of the side of his neck. He’s lost count, now, how many freckles Louis has.
“I thought you hated warm frosting.”
“I do, but if we put it in for just a few seconds it won't matter,” Louis reasons.
Harry watches him shake it and realise that method doesn’t work. He proceeds to lay it upside down on the lid and hits it hard. Then he tries squeezing it before attempting to pry the container from the edges of the frosting.
The corners of his mouth tilt downwards in a frown.
“It's going to take more than a few seconds,” Harry comments, and takes the frosting from Louis. He bangs it against the edge of the island, the sound visibly startling Louis. The solid block of frosting falls right into the bowl Louis had gotten. Harry gives him a smile as he walks past Louis to the microwave that sits on the counter to the left of the refrigerator and slides it in. Harry doesn't take it out until it looks like it's thawed entirely, then pulls it out with a hot pad. Coming up beside Louis, he pokes his index finger in the frosting and sucks it into his mouth. “Not that warm.”
He pokes another finger in it.
Louis waves his fingers away from the frosting, and he uses the knife from before to taste it. The temperature appears to be okay with him, judging by the pleased look on his face.
“It's really good,” he confesses quietly to Harry. He puts his knife in the dishwasher full of other dirty utensils and grabs clean knives and forks to use and separate plates for Harry and him. “I don't want to put any frosting on it, by the way,” he adds.
Harry pauses.
“What? Why?” He pulls his eyebrows together in confusion, and looks at Louis instead of the cake. What kind of person doesn’t want frosting on their cake?
“I prefer to have it on the side and dip the cake in the frosting,” Louis explains. “It tastes better to me that way.”
For a few moments, Harry stares at him, and Louis stares back, a little challenge in his face. His assistant is weird. But he can work around it. So, he nods, saying, “We can do that, no problem.” Then he remembers: “Wait.” He walks over to a drawer a few feet from them and rummages through it until he pulls out two things: a large pack of single candle sticks, and candle numbers 2 and 7. “Can't forget these.” Harry sticks the numbers right in the centre, then surrounds it with twenty-seven of the fifty count of blue candles. It's a very crowded cake, and crumbly and has new cracks added into the old ones because of the force of all the candles. It’s ugly, in Harry’s opinion; the cake, the stereotypical candles, how bare and destroyed it all is – but when he lifts his head to look at Louis, into his blue eyes that have specks of green and grey, his chest eases. Stops. Momentarily. This . . . isn’t so ugly.
Quickly, he lights all of the candles. “Okay,” he says upon lighting the last one, and sets down the lighter. “Make a wish.”
Louis ends up staring at his face instead of blowing out the candles right away. He searches Harry’s face. And Harry doesn’t know what to do besides stare right back. Finally, Louis tears his eyes away and leans down, blowing out the candles. They leave a trail of smoke in the air and a very distinct candle stench that Harry hates. But Harry pretends, and chooses to clap him for and whistle. Louis laughs at him, something soft and something high that pulls at Harry’s chest. He starts picking the candles out of the cake, and Harry notices a soft tinge of pink colouring the apples of his cheeks.
Harry doesn’t know why, so, he ignores it.
Louis cuts the cake and gives the first slice to Harry, then gives one to himself. Harry suffocates his slice in frosting very carelessly. Dolly retreats back to them and tries to rub her face in the bowl of chocolate and what's on their plates, but Harry grabs her with both of his hands and tucks her underneath his arm. She struggles to free herself the entire time; Harry ignores it. Even when they sit back down on the sofa to continue watching their movie. Harry doesn’t see it coming when Dolly whips her paw around and slashes at his skin, causing a long and bright red scratch down his forearm. He lets her go immediately, pissed off.
He sees Dolly strut right into Louis's lap, and walks in circles before settling down to rest on his thighs. Her relaxed exterior pisses him off more.
“Are you okay?” Louis asks, concerned, eyes full of concern.
Harry’s jaw tenses. “It burns,” he answers truthfully, “but I’m fine. She's just in a mood today.” He rolls his eyes.
There’s a frown on Louis’s face when he glances down at Dolly, but he doesn’t say anything further. Harry chooses to suck it up and finish eating his cake while ignoring Dolly. The scratch thankfully never bleeds, as they finish the rest of their movie, eating the entire cake by themselves. Louis doesn’t finish the next slice he eats, but Harry has no problem eating the rest of it for the both of them.
Harry's licking the icing off his fork when he looks at Louis. The half piece of pure cake is still there on Louis’s plate. “What did you think?”
Louis's eyes flicker up at him, meeting his gaze. Breathing in a soft breath, he nods his head.
“It was good; I liked it. I love Cameron Diaz.”
“Me, too,” Harry admits. “She's very nice.”
“Have you met her?”
Humming, Harry nods once. “Met her on the red carpet at some award show. I think I have a picture.” Louis huffs out a chuckle. “Do you want to watch another movie?”
Louis stays silent for a moment, then shrugs and rests a hand on Dolly, whom lays sleeping in his lap. “Sure. But you pick this time.”
“It's still your choice,” Harry reminds him.
Breathing out a purposely heavy annoyed sigh, he says, “I choose you to pick the next thing we watch.”
“That's not how it works.”
“Sure, it is. It's my birthday.”
Harry stares at Louis, pressing his lips together. It becomes a staring contest between them. It goes on for several moments until Harry blinks and looks away. “I can't argue that,” he says, finally.
“Exactly,” quips Louis, as he gently drops the remote in Harry's outstretched hand, palm turned up.
They watch Breakfast at Tiffany’s, then when Harry turns on Meet the Parents, he notices Louis’s eyes start closing. He repetitively glances out of the corner of his eyes at Louis, watching him nod off until he’s sound asleep. Harry’s chest grows soft as he stares at Louis’s tired, pale face. His thin lips are slightly parted, like he should be snoring. Him and Dolly both sound asleep on each other is a rather humourous sight. He decides to leave Louis be and turns his attention to the television to watch the movie. There’s something . . . oddly comforting about the silence; Louis sleeping beside him, the hum of the telly, the filling sensation that encompasses the silence. It’s not so lonely–not so what Harry’s used to. By the end of the movie, he grabs his own plate and stands up, then does his best to grab Louis’s without disturbing him. But Louis’s eyes flutter open at the accidental brush of contact that Harry internally curses himself for. Louis straightens out his very tilted sleeping position, and looks up at him through squinted eyes.
Harry gives Louis a genuine apologetic look, and quietly says, “Sorry. I didn't mean to wake you.”
Louis delicately rubs his eye with the back of his right hand, and stretches his legs, breathing out a tired sigh. He blinks his eyes a few times to adjust. “It's fine,” he rasps. “Sorry I'm falling asleep.”
“Don't apologise,” Harry gently tells him.
He continues off to the kitchen. After scraping off pieces into the rubbish and rinsing off their plates, he lays them on the counter, then hesitates. The image of the gift bag still in the other room floats to the forefront of his mind. He looks over his shoulder at Louis, and finds him distracted by Dolly, and makes a quick decision. Harry speed walks to the other room on silent heels and grabs Louis’ gift bag, then makes his way back into the front room. Louis looks up the exact moment Harry approaches him, and the movements of his hand combing Dolly’s fur stop when his eyes fall down and spot a white bag in Harry's left hand.
“What ‘ave you got there?” His tone is careful.
Harry sets the shopping bag right in his spot, close enough for Louis to reach into. Harry sits on the edge of the settee on the other side of Louis, at an angle facing Louis, and he looks him directly in the eyes. “I thought I'd give this to you, before you completely black out on me,” he says. “It's not really a celebration without gifts, too.”
Louis pushes himself up to sit straighter. “Harry . . .” He looks at a loss for words – lips parted on nothing; uncertainty scaling his face and eyes; touching the bag’s thin, black handles like it’ll burn him. “You didn't have to get me anything. Dinner, movies, the cake, I'm perfectly content just with that.”
Harry presses his lips together lightly and nods. “I know,” he says, forcing his gaze to not leave Louis's. “But I want to do this for you. Don’t make me repeat myself; I’m not good with complimenting people. Just accept it.”
“Harry—”
“Fucking accept it,” he says.
Glancing between Harry's face and the bag, Louis touches it again.
He leans forward and peeks inside. It’s covered by black, decorative tissue paper, and Harry watches him use both hands to remove all the tissue paper.
He knows the second Louis sees it. He pauses, gaze unblinking and widening just enough for Harry to catch. He sees the backpack from Givenchy Harry had gotten him. That was . . . another thing he managed to get out of Niall. Louis’s allegedly been so back and forth about buying it for himself that Harry decided to choose for him. It was extremely easy to find, and even easier to buy. It was probably the easiest gift Harry’s ever had to shop for. But–he didn’t think it was enough; he had bought a bag of Reese’s, as well as wrote a check out for Louis and put that in the backpack for him. Maybe it would make up for everything, Harry’s hoping–maybe it’ll . . . Harry shouldn’t be hoping for anything, really. But after Rachel had a talk with him and made him feel like a shitty person, he’s hoping this’ll convey Harry’s guilt. Or apology. Louis might not recognise it as that, but that’s okay.
“Open it,” Harry instructs softly.
Louis quits just staring at the bag and unzips it. Suddenly, he looks up at Harry and smiles at him, face glowing in happiness. Harry can’t help the smile he gives him in return. Louis backs down and–a little laugh is pulled out of him. Harry’s eyebrow furrow, a little, in wonder.
“What's so funny?” Harry asks.
Louis pulls the bag of candy out to show Harry, without speaking.
Harry's gaze shifts from Louis to the treat, a confused but amused smile splitting across his lips. He . . . doesn’t understand. It’s candy. Harry shrugs like what about it? and Louis shakes his head in response and mumbles never mind. Setting the candy down beside Dolly, he grabs the check.
Louis scoffs, shaking his head as he begins to read it, and asks, “How much is this?”
But he abruptly stops, face falling.
“Five thousand dollars,” Harry casually answers, despite his heart picking up pace again. Louis lifts his head to look at him, but he doesn't say anything. Is it too much? Is it too forward? Did Harry cross a line? Maybe he was wrong for buying Louis his dream backpack and a check. But if he just stuck with the candy, then Harry would look like he put in the least amount of effort in. And this is the line he struggles with: either going too far, or not doing enough. “What's wrong?”
“Nothing,” Louis answers immediately. Then he releases a breath, knowing he’s full of it.  “This is too much, Harry.”
Harry blinks, then stamps on his racing heart and pulls out his detached face. “Louis,” he begins, stern, “don’t even start. That?”—he points to the check—“That is pocket change to me. We’ve gone over this. I have more money than I’ll ever know what to do with. I don’t see better use for it than for charity and for using it to buy whatever you want. Don’t feel bad about me using my own money. Eat the rich, or whatever they say.”
“Do you even know what that means?” Louis asks.
Harry pauses.
“Yes and no. But that’s a different conversation for another day.”
Louis blinks, breaking his gaze from Harry. Harry watches him closely, and waits for something. Louis’s face is concentrated; furrowed eyebrows, a far away look in his crystal clear eyes. He’s thinking something, and as much as Harry would love to get inside that pretty little head of his, he merely settles for waiting. Dolly comes poking through, however, weaving herself effortlessly and expertly through Louis's arms. She throws her arms up to cling to the opened backpack, and stands on her hind legs to peer inside. She stuffs her entire head in it, and it breaks Louis out of whatever it was, making him chuckle.
Harry just shakes his head.
Louis wraps his fingers around her legs to pull her back out of his backpack, but she clings hard. Harry  finds himself laughing softly at the image before him, and he intervenes quickly. He softly scratches behind Dolly's head, then transitions into wrapping his hands around her bottom. He picks her up upside down, successfully having Dolly let go.
Harry pulls her to his chest.
Louis's small chuckle turns into a giggle, and he shakes his head. He reaches for his phone on the coffee table, and Harry watches his face change to realisation.
“I have to go,” he announces.
Dolly falls out of Harry’s grip and runs away.
He looks at Harry.
Harry puts on an unreadable face. “You have to go?” he repeats.
“Yeah,” Louis responds as he stands up. “I have a flight in the morning. Remember? I have to get up really early, and triple check all my belongings. It’s a long flight, so, I’ll need some proper rest.”
“All right,” Harry agrees. He walks first to the door, with Louis following suit, after placing his backpack back into the bag, along with the check. “When's your flight?”
“Hm,” Louis hums. “I think 7.45 in the morning.”
“Harsh,” Harry comments lightly. He lifts his hand to rub at his neck a moment. “I hope it's good. Tell your mum I said hello.”
Louis nods. “I will. And I hope it is, too.” There's a slightly awkward pause, on Louis's end. But it doesn’t last. “Listen . . . I want to thank you for—”
Harry interrupts him.
“No problem.”
“You didn't have to,” Louis points out. He's clearly not going to let Harry wave it off. “You didn't have to do anything at all, but you did. I just want you to know that it's one of the nicest things someone's ever done for me, and that I really, really appreciate it.”
Louis looks at with the most serene face, conviction in his tone. It causes Harry to be temporarily weak.
“You're welcome,” he says in response, hands clasped behind his back for something to hold on to.
Harry doesn’t see it coming – Louis steps forward with confidence, coming into Harry’s personal space, and raises himself onto his toes to wrap his arms around Harry’s shoulders. Those icy nerves return alight and burn him. He’s paralysed for several moments; all he registers is the faint scent of floral notes reaching into his nostrils and brushing against his nose hairs. It’s not overwhelming; it’s the perfect aroma of flowers and fruitiness. Based on his own colognes he’s sampled and bought before, this one could be YSL – or maybe it’s ones he’s seen, such as Lancome. They carry a lot of floral perfumes. Either way, it’s very pleasing. And before he can think, he sneaks his arms around Louis’s small waist–it’s much smaller and slimmer than it looks–and spreads his fingers across the bottom of his spine and the middle of his back.
It’s only a moment later Louis pulls back.
Even though Louis doesn’t look at him, he can’t stop staring at Louis, completely dumbfounded.
“I'll see you in a couple weeks,” says Louis, smiling, when he looks up at Harry. “I'm a text and phone call away if you need anything, okay?” Louis raises a pointed eyebrow at him, giving Harry a look. “Don't hesitate, okay? I won't mind.”
Harry nods.
He’s not going to, but he’ll pretend for Louis.
“Got it,” he says, pressing his lips together.
The pointed look remains on Louis's face.
“I mean it,” he presses, to ensure his message is across.
Harry rolls his eyes and straightens out his posture. “I know,” he sighs. “I’ve survived nearly a decade without you, so, I don't think anything I can't handle is going to happen in the time you'll be gone.”
Louis throws his hands up in surrender.
“Hey, I didn't say you couldn't handle any one thing. I implied quite the opposite, actually,” he corrects.
Harry plays along.
“No need to rub my already swollen ego.”
Louis smiles, huffing out a small laugh. It’s the softest expression he’s ever seen on a face. It’s so caring. Harry doesn’t–understand how he can be so gentle. “Never happy with anything, are you?” he teases.
Harry smiles. “Nope,” he says. “Comes with being a perfectionist. And just being me, in general.”
“I see.” There's silence that falls over them like a blanket. Harry’s hoping Louis will take the cue and leave, but he stays. “What do you plan to do for Christmas?”
Harry blinks.
“I don't know,” he answers. “I don't do much for Christmas, really. I don't celebrate it.”
Louis raises an inquiring brow. “Because of religious reasons, or . . . ?”
Harry shrugs. He doesn’t talk about it with anyone. He’s certainly not going to discuss it with Louis. “Nah. Just don't celebrate it, that's all,” he answers, giving Louis a small smile that he knows doesn’t reach his eyes.
“Not even with your parents?” Harry shakes his head, choosing not to say anything more. With that, Louis drops the subject. “Don't forget to—”
“I'm kicking you out,” Harry says, tone flat, and a finger pointed to the door behind Louis.
He walks around him and opens it.
“You're kicking me out?” Louis repeats,, smiling and now standing so close to the door frame, as he keeps his gaze on Harry, whom now leans against the side of the red door, arms crossed and one foot hooked around the other.
Harry nods vigorously, eyebrows risen.
“Get out. Right now.”
“Fine, I'll leave,” says Louis, raising his hands as he walks out onto the stone walkway, “but not because you're threatening me; but because I want to.” He keeps on walking down the small set of stone steps and across the path leading to the driveway.
“Louis,” Harry calls out without thinking, just going on the feeling of restricted air in his chest. Louis looks over his shoulder, as his hand pulls his car keys out of his pants pocket, and his strides slow. He stares at Harry with patience, and it’s the last thing Harry wants to see in his face, because he won’t be seeing him for a while. “Merry Christmas. Happy birthday. Have a safe flight.”
Louis’s mouth curves up in a gentle, genuine smile.
“Thank you. Happy New Year,” he calls back.
Harry closes the door two-thirds of the way, not willing to let go of the sight of Louis quite yet. He needs to see him get safely in his car and drive away – he can’t let that feeling go. The restriction in his chest worsens when he watches Louis open his car door, but it eases slowly when Louis looks back. In fear of coming off creepy, he closes the door. But he stays behind it to listen to the engine start – to see the red lights reflect against the windows and the distant sound of his car fade until Harry can’t hear anything anymore. Then he turns around, inhaling a deep breath when his vision lands on Dolly sitting on her bum patiently by the stairs, watching him.
“Dolly,” he says – she tilts her head – “Am I too much?”
Dolly mews and walks off.
He’s always changing himself, changing his style, his image. He’s either always too much or not enough; there’s no healthy balance. Maybe he’ll try working on it in Louis’s absence, so, he doesn’t have to fret over it every time he says or does something he’s not familiar with. He doesn’t want to scare Louis off.

i wanna know what love is - 21
Pairing: rockstar! sebastian stan x writer!reader
Warnings: sexual themes
A/N: enjoy xx 💕💕
Last Chapter // Next Chapter
Tumblr media
Sebastian’s heart dropped. Not because she was a virgin, but because she was worried about being one. He understood the person he had become over the years. His public persona was not the one that he had wanted to be back when he started making music but someone had to be. He wasn’t stupid, he knew writers and fans liked to label people in a band and the truth was he was the one who got lost in the limelight in the beginning. He was a kid from a small country in Eastern Europe who had moved all his childhood and was pretty much invisible during high school, suddenly all the girls he met wanted to be with him and as a 20 year old, he was way too glad to jump into life’s pleasures. After that he was almost branded as the wildcard and as rebellion he decided to adapt it. With Y/N, however, he wanted to be a better person, he wanted her to feel safe and trust him.
     - I’ve kissed two guys in my whole life. I was class president, part of most clubs in high school and then various societies in university. I didn’t have time to flirt, I don’t even feel comfortable flirting ... - she continued rambling. He had noticed that Y/N tended to ramble on whenever she got nervous. - And you have a lot of experience.
    - It’s just joking, Y/N. I would never touch you without your permission and god if you never wanna do it, fine by me. I just wanna be by your side, even if your dad and granddad scare me.
    - You sure you wouldn’t want to be with the guys in Maryland? I understand my family is a walking version of a debutante ball.
    - Your family does have a shotgun as room decor. - he added making her chuckle. Sebastian wrapped his arm around her, kissing the side of her head as she leaned on his shoulder. - Besides, I get a chance to see baby pictures.
   - That’s an absolute no. - she looked up at his baby blue eyes. Sebastian had pretty eyes, even when all she wanted to do was punch him in the face, she always loved his blue eyes, specially the contrast with the dark hair. - We’re not in that place yet.
   - Y/N, dinner. - her mother knocked on the door from outside, interrupting their moment making them both groan. Y/N walked to the door, opening it slightly to tell her she would be coming down in a bit. Her eyes roamed from her toes up, she definitely was not dressed in a manner her grandfather would seem fit for dinner. She rushed to her wardrobe, looking at most of the clothing she had left there once she moved out.
   - What are you looking for? - Sebastian asked, leaning against her bed. She had a bed full of pillows and some stuffed animals from her childhood, which created a very soft and fluffy bed that made him want to go to sleep.
   - Supper appropriate clothing. - she started to throw clothing around. Some of it didn’t even fit her anymore, she had to remind herself to take them to a charity shop, however she barely came up to visit her childhood home. She normally went to her parents summer house in the Hamptons, never her childhood home.
   - Supper appropriate clothing? - he furrowed his brows, taking a white bunny from under his neck. - I think you look lovely.
   - I’m wearing trousers, that is sacrilege at dinner. - she throw even more clothing out, some of it even hitting Sebastian. She came face to face with a dress she had bought online for a Ascot Race and took it out. - Do you think this does it?
   - You know I always love when you look like Little Boo Peep. - he chuckled making her roll her eyes. She placed her dress on top of the bed, peeling her shirt and yoga trousers out while Sebastian tried his best not to look at her by instead staring at her room. He knew Y/N was an overachiever, he found it quite adorable, but he’d never known about everything she had done in her life. She could see pictures of her doing various activities from archery to tennis.
   - Right, what do you think? - she said, zipping her dress up as he turned. Sebastian thought she looked like a high class lady with a very beautiful sheer-ish white dress with a silhouette that was reminiscent of the 50s new look style. He smiled, getting up for her bed and pulling her towards his chest. - I look like Eliza Doolittle, don’t I?
   - A hot Eliza Doolittle. - he was about to kiss her before her mother knocked again. Y/N groaned, pulling away from Sebastian and opening the door. He followed her, arm wrapped around her waist as they walked to the dinning table where everyone he had meet before. There were two vacant seats in the table, which they both took.
Her mother and father brought in the dinner while her grandfather had a burning look on Sebastian as he questioned his granddaughter on her internship at Rolling Stone and experiences in New Yorker. He was an old time man and the one who had inherited the fortune from Y/N’s great grandfather while his son, Y/N’s father, went off into becoming a reporter. They were a very traditional upper class family and he couldn’t understand why Y/N had pulled herself out of it.
   - So, what do you do, Mr. Stan? - he changed the conversation.
   - I’m a musician, sir. - Sebastian replied, a nervous feeling growing within him. Normally being a rockstar would impress people but he knew that her grandfather would not find it important.
   - Where did you graduate from? - Y/N rolled her eyes at him. She knew where he was about to go and she knew he was about to trap Sebastian.
   - I didn’t go to university, sir.
   - Then how are you a musician? - she knew it. She knew he was gonna do that.
   - Grandpa, it is not appropriate to judge people. - she said, as she cut onto the potatoes on her plate. - How’s business?
   - We actually hired someone you know, Y/N. Tom Vanderbilt, you remember him, right? Great business associate, just like his father.
   - I’m sure he is. - of course she remembered him and she knew exactly why he had brought that about.
   - He’s coming for Easter lunch, tomorrow. - her father added breaking the ice that had formed but instead it only made her angrier. Sebastian was very confused, not understanding why the family had suddenly gotten into a very silent fight. Theseus coughed, raising from his chair and turning his head towards Sebastian.
   - I’m gonna get more wine. Sebastian, why don’t you come? - the rockstar decided that it would be better to follow her brother than to be in that environment. He got off from his chair and followed him into the kitchen but instead of stopping, he kept walking until he reached the garden. He leaned against the wall, grabbing a cigarette, placing it on his mouth, and one of those old school lighters. - Do you smoke?
   - Could have one actually. - Sebastian tried not to smoke in front of Y/N, he always tried his best not to do it but she really wasn’t around. He offered him one from his B&H pack and Sebastian gladly took it, lightening with its own lighter. He puffed the first cloud of smoke out, tapping it against the wall to get rid of some ash. - What are they so worked up about?
   - Tom Vanderbilt. That son of a bitch. - he chuckled, looking over to him.
   - Who’s Tom Vanderbilt?
   - Y/N’s ex-boyfriend. - he took another puff of his cigarette. - He’s the supposed heir to Vanderbilt, they went to Yale together and he became our grandfather’s favourite.
   - She told me about him, just never had a name added to it. - he shrugged, clearly sharing the same hatred towards the unknown man. - Why do they like him so badly?
   - Granddad thinks that a man needs to have a swell time before they get settled down. Of course, Y/N is a private person and doesn’t really tell them why he really left.
   - Didn’t he ghost her? - his interest was peaked.
   - He did. Didn’t she tell you why? - he furrowed his forehead at Sebastian, surprised his sister had confided in Sebastian already. - He tried his best shot on her, she said no and then he left. We should probably get that wine before my folks realise we’ve been gone for far too long.

I’m really curious about your af OCs is it ok if u say more about them??? :) ✨❤️
*guitar riff*
I’VE BEEN WAITIN’ FO’ THIS ONE! TURN IT UP!
Thank you so much for asking, I’ll get right to it!
My Artemis Fowl OCs:
✨Aliya Al-Bakir✨
A young lawyer, always slightly on the verge of a mental breakdown.
24 | Female (she/her) | ENTP | Human
Aliya has always strived to defend others in their times of need, quite like her own mother, whose footsteps she follows adamently. And she proved that to everyone by entering university at 16 and becoming a renowned lawyer by her 20’s. Truly, ‘Elle Woods has nothing on her,’ as one of her more informal tutors once commented.
Clever, charismatic and slightly too chaotic for her own good sometimes, many see her as a youthful breath of fresh air in the justice system. Others think she’s out to wreck and reinvent it. And not in the way tradition would want her to.
In all honesty, Aliya’s just hoping she can get through a world of old white men who can’t see past her age, her gender, and most offensively her race, to simply help those who really need it.
Unfortunately, and always seemingly by coincidence, all the cases she takes on tosses her into the world of The People, only to be tossed out again by the mind wipe, cover ups and sheer coincidences allowing for her defendants to be found not guilty. Is it some cult or conspiracy out to defend their own, and she just happens to get in the way of it? It was cool and really convenient at first, but the nightmares just keep getting worse and worse.
It’s a tiring routine and Aliya’s at her limit until her favourite uncle becomes a recluse, but no one exactly knows why or where exactly he is.
No one, except Myles and Beckett Fowl.
✨Blair Al-Bakir✨
Eccentric band frontman who, to the shock of many, ‘made it’.
39 | Male (he/him) | ISFP | Human?
Baasit ‘Blair’ Al-Bakir adores the rockstar life; chart-toppers, world tours, legions of adoring fans. What more could he want in life? He was made for this after all.
At 19, with only the clothes and a stringless guitar on his back, and rather large convoluted amounts of hope, Blair found his way to the UK, the birthplace of punk birthing his own love of the genre. That, and the one time he met a drunk Mick Jagger in a bar who had liked “the jib of your cut lad, nowww get us another lager wouldja?”
Maybe it was his jib or the overly cocky nature, but after years at it he found phenomenal success as guitarist and lead vocals in his punk rock band, ‘Vexed Effects’, a rather fitting name if talking about what their music did to their teen listeners’ parents.
And though it seemed he would never settle down, he was still incredibly caring to the only one who accepted him for his life choices; his niece. Blair took Aliya on tours in the summer, taught her multiple instruments and was the father-figure absent in her childhood. She still repays his love and guardianship in her adult life as his undefeatable lawyer.
Yet now, Blair can’t even look to Aliya to defend him. She may have overlooked his irresponsible nature once in a while, but this time, even Blair can’t help but hide his past from her.
The only place to take it is underground.
———————————————————————
So there we have it! I do have some more OCs to develop if I do have the time and willingness to write my fanfic with them in it. University is basically just the absolute ✨worst✨ right now, so Artemis Fowl is one of form of escapism which is keeping me alive right now haha :,).
Drop me any questions if you want to know more about them! And thank you again @luciferswife16 for asking, you’re a star! 💖

Happy 28th! Thank you to everyone who shares their stories with us, especially in times like these. ♥ Stay safe, everyone!
♦ To Him Who in the Love of Nature | wayfared | traveling - implied depression - minor character death - coma - 71k “Enjoy your stay in Svalbard?” the cab driver asked over his shoulder. “Amazing,” Harry answered for Louis, flashing his signature smile. “Good,” the man nodded in approval. “Everyone is lucky in Svalbard. You're lucky, too.” Or, after Louis' delicate world comes crashing down upon him, he takes off for the loneliest place he can think of. But, in the midst of the whirling snow, there's always a warm fireplace to come home to.
♦ The Space Between | emma1234 | a/b/o - famous/not famous - insomnia - implied/referenced drug use - sexism - smut - 40k Harry Styles is the alpha rockstar who can’t sleep and doesn’t know why. Louis Tomlinson is the omega PhD student who helps him figure it out.
♦ Strip That Down | Anonymous | waxing - college/university - friends to lovers - smut - pain kink - 7k “You’re doing well,” came Louis’ voice, and Harry’s eyes flew open, craning his head to see Louis sat on the sofa across the room, legs crossed, hands resting in his lap as he sat there, an amused smile on his lips. “A bit of a wimp, but I guess it must hurt-” “You guess? My legs are on fucking fire, Louis,” Harry retorted, his voice a little shaky still. The alcohol he’d been consuming all night was doing nothing to numb the pain, and the thought Louis thought he was a wimp wasn’t helping. “You have literally no idea how much this hurts.” “No pain kink, then. I’ll bear that in mind,” Louis said smugly as Jesy walked back into the room, a fresh pot of wax in her hands. “Oh goody, here we go again.” “Please don’t do my thighs, please-” “Them’s the rules…” Jesy muttered as she started swiping wax over Harry’s left thigh. ***** Offering to wax his legs as part of a bet wasn’t one of Harry's finer ideas, but if it has Louis ogling his thighs, who is he to complain?
♦ I Like It Better When It Hurts | dimpled_halo | BDSM - dom/sub - kink negotiation - spanking - subspace - aftercare - 6k Dear Mr. Louis, Hello. I’m Harry. I got your contact from a good friend of mine and was wondering if I can get your services. My 30th birthday is coming up and all I’ve ever wanted is to get spanked, maybe more? If you’re interested, please contact me. I’d love to hear from you. Sincerely, Harry Marcel reads over the words. He guesses there isn’t a much better way to ask for what he needs. He almost changes the name again but decides Harry is fine. It’s generic and nothing that can be traced to him. At least he doesn’t think so. Okay, he’s overthinking again so he clicks the send button before he can talk himself out of it. His heart races as soon as he does. He almost wants to take it back, figure out a way to undo it, but he takes a big gulp of his wine to calm down. It’s fine. This is fine. He can do this.
♦ Hold the Night for Ransom | thinlines | a/b/o - pwp - established relationship - angst - hurt/comfort - nesting - 4k “Hate that you make me weak.” Louis whispers it like a secret as he watches Harry tracing his lips. Harry could smell it now. Smell Louis’ delicious slick. He sneaks a hand inside the blankets, searching until they reach Louis’ joggers. Wetness meets his fingertips and he growls, shutting his eyes and seeing the red blossom behind his lids. The bursts of desire. “Is that for me?” He asks, opening his eyes and stare into Louis’. In which Louis tries to prove he doesn't need his alpha and Harry knows it's a losing battle before it begins.
♦ Learning to Breathe | youcomecrash | college/university - hate to love - sexuality crisis - reconciliation - fluff - angst - secret relationship - unresolved sexual tension - unresolved romantic tension - coming out - 110k He’s playing football at one of the top universities in England and he should love everything about his life right now, but instead he’s moving backwards. How does your past fit into your present? Louis is still figuring it out.
♦ Paws, Whiskers, and Unexpected Surprises | Emd1991 | hybrids - fluff - angst - 14k Harry meets Louis after he gets a new job at a local shelter for Hybrids. Louis' stubbornness and mischief stirs up some trouble at the shelter and Harry finds his job tasks difficult to complete. Problems and feelings arise though when the shelter is forced to transfer some of their hybrids to new locations.
♦ We Can Work It Out | kassio | college/university - gyms - body image - implied/referenced homophobia - biphobia - friends to lovers - 24k Louis Tomlinson had big plans for his last year of uni. He was going to hit the gym, he was going to get hot, and he was finally going to catch the eye of the girl of his dreams. Enter Harry Styles, friend-of-a-friend and part-time personal trainer. Falling for him was never part of Louis’ plan.
♦ Underneath the Moon | orphan | mpreg - angst - fluff - famous/not famous - mutual pining - friends to lovers - misunderstandings - anxiety attacks - 47k In five years’ time, Louis would be the one saying to his students about how he knew the great Harry Styles, in a time before he had ever put out an album or performed on a real stage. Harry fucking Styles had been his best friend and he still loved him, he always would. But they couldn’t stay that way. (Or, Louis and Harry are best friends until Louis goes to London while Harry tours Europe. It was going as planned until they unintentionally messed everything up, but it might be for the best.)
♦ an entire desert in our hourglass | tofiveohfive | pre-apocalypse - angst - hurt/comfort - post-break up - getting back together - happy ending - 19k The first time around, Harry doesn’t recognize it as the reason behind the sudden tightness in his throat. He sees the hourglass sitting empty on Louis’ rack and mistakes it for just another souvenir from a life he used to know. The second time around, he feels insulted by the glaring stoicism of the sand on the bottom. His hand itches to make it move. He thinks he’d find some comfort in knowing that at least the grains of salt are getting somewhere. The third and final time he sees the hourglass, it almost doesn’t catch his eye. The warmth in his bones keeps him from gravitating towards acidic reminders. However, the soft light coming from the window paints a new shade over the lifeless sand. Whereas before Harry couldn’t see past the bitter finality represented by the stillness, now he sees it as a chance waiting to be taken. A new beginning waiting to start. He flips the hourglass. · The world is ending. Harry comes over.
♦ Your secret's safe with me | lightswoodmagic (sarah_writes) | royalty - friends to lovers - pining - 7k He knew almost everything about Haz, considered him his best friend. He knew his favourite movies and books, how he liked his coffee, knew how many pets he had and what he was most afraid of. Louis knew how to calm him down when he was panicking, and that he’d lost his virginity to his ex-boyfriend when he was 17. He knew that Haz had curly hair, green eyes, that he was tall and considered himself slightly awkward. He knew his Instagram account that only had aesthetic pictures or ridiculous jokes, but in the all the time that Louis had known him, he’d never learnt, or been allowed to know, Haz’s full name, what he sounded like, or what he looked like. Louis didn't care. Or, when Louis' favourite singer comes back and announces he's performing again, him and the rest of his group chat decide to go. When Haz, the man Louis' fallen in love with without meeting him, says that he can't, Louis tries his best to convince him with a drunken phone call, hearing his voice for the first time. It's not until he's at Royal Variety that he swears he can hear it again.

To The Tune of Your Heart
A Piers x OC (Sai) fic! For @saiyurimai or @saiyurimaiandtheden or @saiscavedwellers
**********************************
Piers is in town for one magical night, singing his heart out on the stage in front of hundreds of fans of all shapes and sizes and ages.  And tonight, Sai is one of them.  A fangirl who is entranced by the way he plucks the guitar, imagining what those fingers could do to her, the way his lips brush against the microphone...
But she knows that seeing him on stage is as close as she is ever going to get to the star.  He has his other fans and his own security keeping him in line.
However, that was before her sister, Bucky, adjusted the cards (and tickets) in her favour.
**************************************
Sai couldn’t help herself.  As the lights went down and the first chords of her favourite song began to echo in the stadium as the band began to warm up, she seized Bucky’s arm and screamed. Her poor sister, startled out of her own world, jumped and looked around wildly before resettling in her seat. “Sai I was not expecting that…”
“Serves you right for being on your phone during a concert! Come on! Put it away! You bought the tickets for us after all, you need to enjoy it too! Besides, you can’t tell me you were drooling over Leon’s pokegram again.  The man only updates it once in a full moon!” Sai grinned as she teased her sister.
Bucky flushed and put her phone away, securing it in her pocket.  “I just really like that last picture he posted.  Him and the Dreepys. It was cute.”  Bucky wasn’t quite meeting Sai’s eyes and her cheeks were pink.  If Sai had to guess she would say that Bucky was probably looking the beach photo he had recently posted.  It was a fangirl’s dream and Bucky was quite the fangirl.  She was as big of fan of Leon as Sai was of Piers. And Milo. And Raihan.  And…
“So are you going to put your phone away, pot?” Bucky asked her, breaking her chain of thought.  “Or are you going to videotape and take as many photos as you can for your rainy day collection while you’re here?”
Sai grinned, hitting record as Piers walked on stage and greeted the audience, the sound of screaming almost drowning out his voice.  “Kettle, I think you already know what I am planning on doing.  Now hush!  It’s bad enough with the rest of the crazy fangirls. I don’t need your negative Nancy attitude on it too.”
Bucky rolled her eyes and chuckled softly, letting Sai have her moment.  She would get her back after the concert.
The hours flew by in a haze of screaming, laughter, and more than a few tears.  Sai couldn’t remember when the last time she had had so much fun at a concert. Piers sounded like his CDs! No, even better. She couldn’t get enough of him and his sexy voice, the tiny little expressions he made as he sang. He was perfect… it was too easy for her to imagine that he was singing those sweet songs for her ears alone…
All too soon the concert ended.  Sai was sure that she had ruined her vocal cords for the rest of the year.  And it had been so worth it.  Piers picked up his stuff and disappeared into the back, where he would be signing autographs for those who had bought those exclusive backstage passes.  Sai was already jealous of the girls behind them. They had been talking about their backstage pass since they had gotten into their seats behind them.  Sai would LOVE to meet Piers one day.  Sit down with him and talk music, pokemon, give him the bracelet she made him and-
Bucky was in her seat, scrolling through her phone.
“Bucky? Aren’t we… aren’t we leaving?  The concert is over now.”
Her twin looked up at her, innocent and wide-eyed before turning back to whatever was on her phone and scrolling. “Hmm? Oh yes. The main part of the concert is over already? Well I guess you need to get moving. You don’t want to be late. But you’ll need these to get there next.” Reaching into her pocket she pulled out a silver and pink dogtag, the backstage pass for this particular concert, and the bracelet that Sai had worked on making him.
Sai’s mind exploded.  “Bucky… I… really?  This… these are…”
“Your backstage pass for a meet and greet with Piers and that bracelet you made for him in case this day ever happened?  Yes.  Yes they are.”
“How on earth… what in Acreus’ name did you do? For Mew’s sake these passes…”
“They aren’t cheap.  Brisingr and I had a few extra races that we did so we could get it for you.” Bucky winked at her.  “Now hurry up.  I’ll wait for you outside once you’re done and I’ll be wanting a full story.”
* * * * *
So that’s how she got here.  Standing in line with the other fans, nervously bouncing from foot to foot.  Sai tried to calm but she just couldn’t. There was so much going on, so much to think about.  Especially with her sister.  She owed her sister, big time, for this.
Bucky must have done extra races with Brisingr to make up the money to buy the tickets.  She was such a sneaky woman.  When on Mew’s green earth did she have the time and where did she do the racing?  And surely she would have heard of a Salamence flying around the Galar region.  Hopefully she wasn’t doing street racing again.  Last time she tried street racing she had almost been caught by Officer Jenny. She was going to give her such a stern talking to when they got home….  Home after seeing her idol!  The one and only Piers of Spikemuth! OH! She could scream!  Her mind was racing, turning around in circles.  She couldn’t keep her head on straight.  She…
“Listen up!” a woman with pink face paint across her eyes called out to the fans.  “We know that you are looking forward to seeing Piers but we have a few rules for you to follow if you want to see him.  Follow along and everything will go as normal.  Break the rules and you’re out.  Got it?” There was a rumbling of agreement, the electricity in the air palpable. “Rule number one: No squealing, screaming or shrieking.  Piers already has a bit of a headache from tonight’s show, let’s not make it worse.  Soft talking, when it is your turn, is ok.
“Rule two: no giving food.  We appreciate it but Piers is a picky eater and… well, that’s all you need to know.  Small gifts are fine as long as Piers accepts them but no food or drink.” Sai knew that this rule was more or less bullshit.  It was a safety protocol.  They were always worried that someone would try to take the rocker out of commission, diminish the competition.
Still, her hand tightened on the little bracelet she made him.  Still, that meant that her bracelet was perfect for him.
“And most importantly, rule number three.  We have a list of names of the people who have the backstage pass.  When we call your name, you can approach Piers.  We are doing this one at a time for his benefit.  Stay behind until it is your turn.  Again, you break the rule, and you’re out.  Does everyone understand this?”
Again there was murmured agreements.  Sai realized that the bigger and stronger stage hands were circling close behind them, like sharks circling seals.  They probably were deathly serious.  She wondered how many others had been booted from the show.
Muted gasps and quiet murmurs circled around her as her heart leapt into her throat.  A man with slouched posture and the trademarked hair stepped in front of them. It really was Piers! The pale skin, the wild hair, the….
Tired eyes.  Poor guy looked like he needed coffee, in an IV, in his veins.  Still, he smiled and greeted the fans, waving at them and giving them a small chuckle.  “How are you, loves?” he asked, his voice husky and tired.
Ugghhhh…. Sai could melt.
The lady with the clipboard checked names and introduced the fans to Piers one at a time. Slowly, calmly.  They seemed to have a system going.  Piers would shake their hands, smile, say a few words, take a picture and give an autograph, and then the line would carry on.  He really was a dream, signing everything that he was handed, and making conversation though he looked exhausted.  Sai wished that she had something more than the pamphlet and the ticket stub.  The others had autograph books or magazines.  The one girl had him sign her body pillow.  Another a personalized doll that they had made themselves.  Though, granted the last two were a little on the crazy fangirl side but that would make for a memorable fan…
“Saiyurimai?” the girl asked as Sai handed her ticket to be checked.
Sai smiled and gave a small giggle.  “I usually just go by Sai.  My full name is such a mouthful.”
“But it’s rather pretty. Yuri like those lilies, am I right?”
Her heart stopped.  Piers was looking at her with those pale eyes of his, a smile on the corner of his lips. Oh… if only this moment would last forever….
“Yes.  I’m surprised you know them.  I was convinced that my parents chose the most obscure flowers to name me after.” Sai nervously pulled her hair behind her ears before outstretching it take his hand. “Hi.  Nice to meet you.  I’m Sai.”
Piers took her hand, squeezing it gently.  She could feel the heat on his fingertips and the palm of his hands where he had gripped the mic.  The touch seemed to linger a tad too long.  “It’s nice to meet you Sai.  I recognize your hair from the audience.  You looked like you were having a blast up there.”
Her cheeks were burning slightly.  “Yes.  I’ve been to a few of your concerts and own all your CDs.  I know a few of the songs off by heart now.”
“So maybe next time you’ll have to join me and show the audience how it is done, hmm?” His eyes twinkled down at her and she couldn’t help but squeak and laugh slightly at his joke.
“Of course!  I’ll need to flown out first class of course! Champagne, oysters, the works!”
The Rockstar laughed.  “I’ll keep that in mind.  Now, what can I sign for you?”
With trembling hands, Sai handed over the pamphlet, watching as his pen scribbled across the paper.  “I hope you don’t mind… my sister sort of sprung it on me that I was meeting you and… Oh!” She fished out the bracelet and handed it out to him. “I hope you accept this.  I… I have been working on it for months.  The dark beads are made up of dusk stones and the pink is a crystal that comes from the salt mines in Unova.  It is said to bring good luck.”
Piers finished his inscription of the pamphlet and gently took the bracelet.  He flipped it over, looking at the beads, the knots, the strength of the string, the… “Thank you, I love it.” he told her as he put it on, minding the sleeve of his jacket. “I’ll think of you whenever I wear it, Sai, lily of Galar.  Now.  Do you want a picture?”
Sai was staring at him through hazy eyes.  He had accepted the bracelet, even loved it.  He said he would think of her.  She couldn’t help herself.  Just before the camera went off, she put a finger through the pendant on his collar, pulling him in for a deep kiss.
His lips were even softer than she had first thought. Soft and warm, slightly chapped, but he tasted faintly of black, dark coffee. She could smell the coffee on him, and the faint hints of his cologne and…
….
Oh dear Acreus.
What had she done.
She released him immediately, her face red, his face pink.  “I’m sorry!  I forgot that there were people in this room!”  There were the sounds of outrage behind them as Team Yell fought to get the disgruntled fans under control, the lady with the clipboard who looked like she was about to murder Sai and Piers…
Piers was blinking away his own haze, staring down at her like she was some sort of wild flower… “It’s alright.” He chuckled as the astonished team member gave him the photo.  “We all forget ourselves sometimes.  You should get out of here before the mob tramples you.” He wrote something on the back and sent her along the back way.
Sai clutched at her picture, still in shock as the sounds of the fans slowly faded over the distance.
Oh Acreus…. She would never be able to go to another concert again.
* * * *  *
Bucky was waiting outside the concert hall like she had discussed, looking at something on her phone.  Slowly Sai snuck up on her, peeking over her sister’s shoulders to see what she was doing.  Fully expecting to see her looking at a scandalous picture of Leon…
To her surprise she was looking at the picture of Leon with the Dreepy in his hair.  There was something just so carefree about the moment.  Something so… innocent.  She could see his Charizard peeking over his shoulder at the camera, amusement in his eyes.
And then Bucky swiped to the next picture, and the picture of Leon on the beach popped up on the phone.  Sai could see that her sister was fully entranced by the photo, taking in the lines of the muscle, the tight swim trunks.
“Caught you~” Sai sang to her, enjoying how Bucky shrieked, almost throwing her phone in surprise.
“SAI! HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN STANDING THERE?”
“Long enough to know that my sweet sister isn’t as innocent as she seems~ and that she likes a man with long, purple hair and very little on.” Sai sang to her.
“OH, SHUT UP.” Bucky sputtered, her face red.  “You just caught me at a bad time.”
Sai chuckled as Bucky stormed off, catching up to her easily.  “Ah come on sis, there is nothing to be ashamed of.  I’m sure that if you posted a picture of yourself in a bathing suit he would like it too.”
Bucky pouted at her, her cheeks still hot.  “You know, sometimes you’re encouraging in the wrong sort of ways. Hopefully you enjoyed your Meet-and-Greet… though obviously it went well as he has what looks to be a phone number on the back of that picture there.”
Sai froze in step, slowly turning the picture over. Sure enough, right where he had been writing before herding her out the door….
“SAI.  DARE I ASK WHY YOU’RE KISSING HIM LIKE THAT?”

Hey there! I saw your 500 celebration post, so congratulations!! I also would love to make a request so how about Roger and reader unkwoingly having feelings towards each other until one day they're venting about how the person they love doesn't love them back and then they confess it's them and the kiss and it's beautiful. I need some silly fluff in my life, I'm too sad right now. Thanks!! :) xx
Thank you so much for sending something in!! this was so much fun to write and in true me fashion this tuned out way longer than anticipated, enjoy!!💗
Tumblr media
You watched with wistful eyes as Roger messed around with his drums through the glass from the control room. He had insisted on getting the drum solo for the new song absolutely perfect, therefore missing going to get pizza with the boys and staying back to bang on some cymbals instead.
You were sitting in the sound technician’s chair with your feet kicked up on the mixing desk, careful not to push any important buttons that would completely mess everything up. You offered to stay back with Rog so he wouldn’t get lonely but you were quickly regretting your choice.
Sitting and watching Roger play his drums was the most painful torture you’d ever felt in your life. Mostly because you couldn’t do anything about the way he looked.
You couldn’t go up to him and stand between his parted legs and brush the sweaty blond locks away from his pretty, angelic face. You couldn’t place your hands on his bare chest peeking out from the half unbuttoned, white shirt. And you most definitely couldn’t kiss those plush, pink as a rose lips.
You and Roger had started out as good friends and you really thought that’s what you’d always be. You had fun together, sometimes laughing at your apartment till dawn and supporting each other through everything that life threw your way. Like friends do.
But somewhere along the way that changed. You got a crush on him. A big one at that.
It’s like a click had gone off in your head. Suddenly Roger — your buddy; became Roger — the man who’s hands you seem to have a fascination with and who’s personality and quirks you absolutely adore and who’s lips your name sounds absolutely heavenly rolling off of.
It had been terrible; living with the knowledge that Roger didn’t think of you or feel about you the same way. Of course, he didn’t. He was a rockstar, who could have any girl he wanted. So why would he choose you?
Your pondering was interrupted by a loud crash. One of the cymbals had fallen over.
“Everything okay?” you asked through the intercom. Roger's reply was a huff.
Confused, you made your way into the recording space and stood there watching as Rog picked the cymbal up and set it back into it’s place with the occasional curse word inbetween. Even from where you were standing you could see the furrow between his brows and his pursed lips.
“Rog, are you really okay? You seem a bit… frustrated,” he’d seemed a bit on edge the whole day and it looked like a falling cymbal had been his last straw.
“I'm not frustrated for fuck’s sake. Everything is just fucking peachy,” clearly that was sarcasm.
He finally got the cymbal back into place and took his seat behind the drums. He lifted his drumsticks, still clearly mad, getting ready to do some more angry smashing, but suddenly stopped midair.
If he was being bitchy, you were going to leave him at it, but just as you turned to leave-
“Wait,” came his voice and you stopped.
“I'm sorry, I shouldn’t have taken it out on you. You’re right, I’m frustrated,” you turned back to face the drummer with a questioning look in your eyes, “Very frustrated, actually.”
“Why?” you were truly curious.
He avoided your gaze and fiddled with his drumsticks as he replied.
“It's just- you remember that girl I told you about? The one I really like?”
Ah, yes, the girl. You remembered her very well. Kind of hard not to since she’s all Roger ever talks about. You were extremely jealous. She had occupied Roger’s brain and it seemed she didn’t plan on leaving.
The worst part was that everything Rog had told you about her was almost disgustingly lovely. She sounded perfect and kind and truly a wonderful person, which made it all the more painful to hear about her.
You mumbled a soft ‘yes’ and waited for Roger to carry on.
“Yeah, well, I don’t know what to do. I just want to tell her how I feel so bad. I want to kiss her and hold her and call her mine, but I- I’m afraid,” he got more and more quiet, “I'm really afraid, Y/N.”
His words made something inside you twist and a green monster was eating away at your heart, but you mustered up the courage and pushed your jealousy aside. Your friend needed help and you were going to give it.
Youu sat down on one of the amps, completely missing the way Roger’s baby blue eyes followed your moves with a look of longing.
“Well, you told me she’s a good friend, right?” you asked, looking up through your lashes and continued after a nod from Roger, “Then you have a really good foundation to work with. If the relationship falls through or the other person doesn’t feel the same way, there’s a way back. Sure, it might be awkward but I think if you like her as much as you’re telling me…it’s worth it to try.”
“I think I love her,” you hoped Roger couldn’t hear your heart breaking. God, it felt like you were being ripped in two.
He sounded so sincere, you didn’t even have the heart to pretend that maybe he was being a fool and just maybe she had a really nice pair of tits. No, it was real. And it hurt.
You swallowed hard and locked eyes with him from across the room.
“Then you should really tell her, I mean-“
“It's you,” you blinked at his words, “I- I love you, Y/N. You’re the girl I love. Always have.”
“What?” your throat was dry and your heart was racing so fast. Did you hear him right?
“I know you probably don’t feel the same way. You were just telling me last week about some guy, so I know I have no chance with you, but-” your feet carried you over to the drumset almost on instinct and you stopped in front of a wide-eyed Roger still fiddling the drumsticks in his hands. The blood in your ears was rushing so loud and you couldn’t hear anything Roger was saying; the words ‘It’s you’ repeating in your head like a broken record.
You gently pried the sticks out of his hands and placed them on the bass drum behind you. He watched you with a gaping mouth and curious eyes as you placed your trembling hands on his shoulders, one drifting to brush along his jawline.
“Rog, that was you, silly boy,” you giggled. His eyes widened even more if it was possible and then his face lit up in a blinding smile. Your heart squeezed in your chest as Roger’s hands settled on your hips and pulled you into his lap.
“Really?” he looked so cute, searching your face for an answer that was alrealy clearly there in the form of your glowing eyes and a giant smile matching his.
“Really.” another giggle followed before your lips were against his and everything felt right.
The kiss was sweet, filled with roaming hands and soft smiles as you desperately tried to get as close as possible. His hands were on your back, holding you steady while yours were gently running through his long hair. You stayed like that, connected in every possible way, until you needed air. But even then you didn’t go far, touching your forehead to his with dopey smiles on both your faces.
Roger was your favourite person to kiss, you realised. This was your first kiss with him, but you already knew, he’d be the person you’d be kissing for the rest of your life. And you really didn’t mind.
You finally broke apart from your embrace when Freddie’s voice rang through the intercom.
“Finally, darlings! I thought I’d have to lock you two in some bunker to get you to admit your feelings! Now please, I hope we won’t catch you having sex in the middle of the studio any time soon!”
You hid your furious blush in the crook of Roger’s neck as he chuckled and soothingly rubbed your back.
Everything was just perfect.

Triggered - Seo Changbin
When the one person you trusted to not break your heart does just that... how do you recover? Broken one too many times before can you forgive him?
Tumblr media
To say you were insecure was an understatement, your whole life you were made to feel less than everyone else, worthless, ugly and a waste of time. That was until you met Seo Changbin rapper for famous idol group Stray Kids, exactly 2 years ago today. He made your life worth something, he made you feel loved, wanted, needed he made you feel beautiful. So you wanted to make him feel special and surprise him with lunch, before your very exciting anniversary night but shit backfires!
Y/N’s P.O.V
He is everything that’s good and I felt so bad about having to rush to my best friend Jack’s house early morning, but it was only cause he is helping me to organise Binnie’s surprise for tonight! Dinner at his favourite restaurant, 2 tickets to a Chase Atlantic concert being performed in a bar (since he said he wanted to see my favourite band live with me), then back to my place for a long night of appreciation and sentimental words, oh and loving.
Walking into the JYPE building even after all this time still made me nervous, I’d brought enough for the 10 of us to eat but probably would end up making sure Changbin ate enough for the both of us. I make my way to the dance studio where they undoubtedly are overworking to perfect their lastest comeback, but to my surprise I hear them talking.
“I just can’t handle Y/N today man, the stress and exhaustion may be getting to me but god I can’t deal with her insecurities. Every night she’s crying over something new, worrying I’ll leave her, skipping meals. Every single time I come home she’s panicked and I can’t deal with her insomnia one more sleepless night I’m gonna lose my shit.” I hear Changbin ramble on, standing at the door awe struck and frozen with fear. I hear footsteps...
“That’s not nice Changbin!” Jeongin defends me, bless him he’s always been so kind to me.
“Yeah maybe you’re being a little bit harsh, she’s had it rough and on today of all days you shouldn’t be bagging out the girl you’re dating.” Chan agrees knowing full well what today was while Changbin seemed lost.
“Today of all days? What do you mean?” Tears start rolling down my cheeks as the foot steps getting closer before you could process the door swings open revealing a very shocked looking Jeongin and scared looking Chan.
“Don’t.” I choke out handing Chan the food and with blurry vision and my head up high looking Changbin dead in the eyes. “I know where I stand, happy anniversary btw asshole. Enjoy it on your own!” Sarcasm lacing my voice as I spin on my heels ignoring the pleads of the boy who was and is my world.
Changbin’s P.O.V
I go to chase after her, I was dumb, I didn’t mean any of it. I said it myself I’m just tired and stressed, one things for sure, I need her.
“Changbin, Jyp is on his way and you know that, you can’t leave now.” Woojin scolds.
“Hyung, I cant just let her leave, not like this, not today, not anyday. I need her I was just being a dick, you all know that.” I say pointing to the members.
“I’m sorry but right now Woojin is right, she’s already gone, your damage has been dealt.” Minho backs Woojin up looking at the boy sorrow filling his eyes, Minho of all people knew the extent to which Changbin needed Y/N.
“Did you really forget what today was Bin?” Felix asks, his voice a whisper as he stood beside the boy.
“Yes.” He breaks “I fucking forgot.” He colaspes to the ground in his own sorrow he doesn’t hear his boss entering the studio.
“Changbin, what’s wrong?” The man dressed in casual attire sounds genuinely concerned.
“I-I -I’m just a bit cranky today sir, I’m sorry.” He stands up momentarily regaining his composure.
“Well you boys have tonight off, but I wanted 3 racha to go to a show tonight. The group is an Aussie group, I figured you’d like that Chan...” he chuckles to himself “the point is to widen your musical exposure and hopefully give you some ideas for beats, composition and you’ll have a chance to talk to them afterwards. In return they’ll come to your show later this month, their manager wanted them to have some free time and they wanted to check you boys out after hearing that you’ll be watching them.” They all nod Changbin regretting so afterwards.
“The show starts at 8pm, goes for about 2 hours and you’ll meet them afterwards. Changbin I know it’s your anniversary but is there anyways you could call Y/N, I’ll pay for your make up date, I know how inconvenient this must be and I’m so sorry.” He smiles genuinely patting the boy’s back and walking out.
“Fuck as if it couldn’t get any worse.” He grunts turning to Chan who’s still holding the bag.
“She brought this for us.” Chan says followed by “She’d want us to eat it regardless.” A bittersweet smile on my face as I realise exactly the magnitude to which I have just fucked up.
Y/N’S P.O.V
“Yo mitty, so I’m coming to your show tonight, was wondering if you and the boys wanted to get drinks after. Like old times back home!” I ask excitement filling my broken voice, my voice hoarse from an hour of sobbing until I decided I’d just go to my friends concert and let lose. Have a good time like we used to!
“You know I’m always down for that, but we gotta meet with some idols or something after who are coming, you’re more than welcome to join back stage. We can race fireball like old times?” The boy chuckles over the line.
“Alright Cave, you’re on!” I smile proudly knowing I’ll kick his ass just like old times!
“Alright cutie you’re on.” With that he hangs up the line, cutie was what he used to call me in highschool. Some junior tried to hit on me during our last year and he swooped into rescue me, I miss those times. No broken heart, no betrayal, just a bunch of idiot friends having a good laugh and writing some songs.
I get dressed while calling Casper to update him on the situation. I take my lacey black bra and pair it with some black ripped skinny jeans and a pair of combat boots and leather jacket to top off the bad ass bitch vibe for tonight. Put my piercings in, necklaces on, straighten my hair and do some light make up and boom ready to have an awesome time. Despite the ever growing pit of grief in my stomach, was I really that needy? Desperate? Clingy? That I managed to make Changbin the man who would always call me the love of his life, hate me.
Changbin’s P.O.V
3RACHA pulling up looking hot as fuck. Chan dressed in his mixtape 4 outfit (cause that’s a fat OOF 🤤), Han Jisung wearing his outfit from the boxer street video (p.s author loves her baby UWU he’s so handsome.) and Changbin wearing his outfit from SBS Inkigayo ep 997 (because Oml What an absolute king of I am not a goth but black is such my colour and I own this shit). Okay visual cue out!
“What the fuck is up Seoul? We’re Chase Atlantic thanks for coming out tonight.” The crowd screams “it’s super amazing to be here tonight and we hope you all have a dope time, our first song tonight is Triggered. I wanna hear you get loud.” A man with long dirty blonde / brown hair hypes the crowd up and they begin. The music itself wasn’t bad but most of the lyrics went in one ear out the other, lots about drugs but then again I only picked up half the songs contents but after all we were only there to listen to their use of sources, beats and their instruments so if it works, it works.
Next was a song called Swin, Cassie, Into It, 23, Lust, Friends, Uncomfortable, Drugs & Money, Right Here, What U Call That, Ozone, Devilish, The Walls, Okay and then they talked for a little. I scan through the crowd from our seats which were front section of second level as I was not really understanding what they were talking about until I see her, there she was, Y/N here, or at least I think it’s her I can only see her back but she’s got the jacket I gave her on. It had a SPEAR.B patch on the back, one she had designed for me when we were only known as 3RACHA. Surely it’s her the hair colour and jacket, surely that’s MY Y/N.
“Oi Chan?” I turn to the blonde haired Aussie to my left “is that Y/N?” I question pointing to where the girl is.
“Looks like it, that’s her jacket after all and this is her favourite band.” He looks slightly annoyed I hadn’t put two and two together, Aussie band, Chase Atlantic. Y/N always talked about how one day we’d go to their concert and we’d be the hottest couple because she had me. I told her I wanted to go see the things she loves. Jesus today keeps getting worse. Time ticks on and I can’t help but watch her, the girl I love, dancing with some other guy, laughing, singing, being happy. When I left her broken-hearted.
“This is our last few songs, these are You Too, Meddle About and Like A Rockstar! Enjoy Seoul you’ve been fucking awesome.”
I watch by as she gets crazy, let’s go and enjoys herself. Was she really unphased? No, I could tell, I know her better than anyone.
The boys wrap up the show and I watch as the lead singer leaves before we head back stage. My eyes searching for her, but she’s no where to be seem.
Y/N’s P.O.V
“MITTY” I scream as I hurl myself at my oldest friend who’s laying in the green room couch. “CUTIE!” He screams back tickling me “how the fuck have you been man?” I ask as we spend time catching up we hear a knock. “Yeah come in” Mitchael screams “bro my fucking ears, Jesus” I complain getting off of him and going towards Clinton as he’s where the drinks are. “Clint? Gimme something strong yeah?” I plead “Jesus rough day?” He chuckles “you have no idea man. No I fucking dear” I sigh turning around and regretting it instantly.
There he stood, Seo Changbin looking as good as ever. Without much thought I down the entire drink and head back to sit with Mitchel, Chan breaks the momentary awkward silence “hello it’s nice to meet you, we are 3RACHA.” Chan extends his hand to Mitchel but instead he bro hugs him, “how’d you enjoy the show man?” Clinton asks Changbin as they bro hug “uh... it was really good, I-I really like the uh compositions of your music-c.” I smile slightly to myself he’s doing so well my precious boy, Y/N SNAP. OUT. OF. IT. “That’s so nice, thanks bro.”
The night or the next hour and 30 minutes at least consisted of everyone sitting on the couches sharing advice, ideas, stories and me on my phone. “You know this little chick right here is pretty good with a beat, we used to have jam sessions and she always started our old songs.” Mitchel looks down at me as I occupy the space next to him, “she even sends us samples and lyrics still to this day, cutie over here got mad skills.” My eyes go wide knowing full well Changbin just heard and understood everything that was said, I hum from behind my phone screen too scared to look up in fear I’d meet his eyes. Those same eyes I can feel burning a hole into my forehead right now, “how about we watch some of your videos, I know we get to see you live soon but aye give us a sneak peak!” Clinton changes the topic, my life saver. Chan pulls out his phone and everyone huddled around where he was sitting I stand at the back close to Changbin just too rest the waters, knowing he was both sad and jealous I didn’t want to escalate things. He notices my position and while everyone is focused on the phone snakes his arm around my waist and pulls me closer into his side “baby, you know I love you. I was a dick I am so sorry. I need you to stay with me. Please love.” He whispers in my ear sending shivers down my spine as he peppers soft, sweet kisses along my neck, “we will talk about this later” I muster up all the courage I can to detach myself from his side and go back to sitting on the couch scrolling through my phone. “Y/N, you good?” Clinton asks knowing I’ve had a few drinks “yeah boys, all g” I smile.
“Talk about sick beats man, those are dope. So you make all your own shit. Composing, mixing, lyrics. The whole lot yeah?” Changbin nods “yeah the whole lot.” He smiles confidently, fuck he’s making this hard.

02/03/2019
They shouldn’t have been friends, really. Not on paper.
He was the bad-boy musician with the chocolate-brown eyes and softer hair, with looks and lyrics that had girls on their knees (in that way? Yes.) She; younger than her years, with a thousand storylines swirling around that imaginative mind. Quirky and straight-laced, gold cross dangling from the neck, filled by a warm heart and framed with a gentle smile.
It all started with a rum and coke. Down his top, into his lap. She could have died from the shame. He laughed it off, too high to care. That night, they spent hours in conversation, only stopping to enjoy the sunrise in a companionable silence. Two strangers left that night as friends.
Worlds apart, and yet not so different. Words were not always shared, but pictures were - her story ideas and shots of the sky, his messy songwriting notes. And memes. One day, she dared to ask if they could meet again. Heart full, she accepted his invitation to his house party.
Each girl over the course of the night was a dagger to the heart. Kisses, tongues, lips, sex, it didn’t mean anything to him. But to her? Everything. This was not a good idea. She left before he could see her pain, before she could no longer hold back the flood of tears and emotions. A grey mist of sadness clouded her vision as she made her way through the multitude of rooms - but wait, this was not the way she had come in? And why was there a door being closed behind her? Who was closing it?
He muffled the scream before it could leave her mouth, tossing her on the bed. An uncomfortable pressure, raced breathing. A hundred thoughts raced through her head before settling on one last dark one - I am going to lose my virginity to a rapist.
Flesh against flesh, grunts and groans - but not from her mouth? Fighting all instinct to keep her eyes shut, she opened them to a scene she would never forget for the rest of her life; her gentle sunrise boy, his chocolate brown eyes seemingly glowing red, her attacker cowering and then unconscious on the floor.
He’d had his eyes on her all night. And then she decided. She wouldn’t be a girl to have his body, but she would be his friend. Throwing her arms around him, she let the tears flow once she felt his arms come around her, creating a soft, safe world in his embrace.
Months passed, and friends they were. She was content to have a place in his heart, even if it wasn’t the place she wanted. Girls came and went, but she was always there, at the end of the line. A constant.
His band got big. College over - the American dream wasn’t for her, and she went back home across the pond to the City job she had always wanted. But the pictures continued - selfies from the stages of concerts across the country, her photos of the office skyline , lights twinkling in the evenings of long working days.
A couple of years down the line and he was tiring of the “good” life. Of the endless women, drugs, rock and roll. Arenas had turned into stadiums, national had become international.Money was great, but he had enough of it. Had enough for his grandchildren to have enough. Emotionally rich, he was not. And then, the idea came to him.
A hundred different near-and-dear, those not in on the plan, received the message. “It’s up. I am done. It’s all over. Everything I had...gone.”
Megan cut him off, but not before she’d taken the pearls. Jan said she’d given him her best, and had nothing to show for it. Friends fucked off without a farewell. One by one, they fell out of his life. Hours passed and he was waiting for HER. What would she say?
The rain was falling hard outside, and he could barely hear the knock on the door. She was soaked through, her tan suede coat now only a few shades lighter than his eyes.
“Last minute plane tickets are daylight robbery.” She finally said, her voice small. “But I would rob a bank to be able to see you in person. And to do this.” And just she like had done years before; she threw herself into him, waiting for that moment when his arms closed around her.
Moments passed and she pulled herself away, her eyes not meeting his. All of a sudden, she was the 19 year-old again at the party.
“I don’t want to be your friend,” she said with a quiet fortitude. She knew he hated the 1975.“I want to kiss your neck.” And then, she ran her hands through his hair, gingerly at first, before finally gripping it into her fist, pulling him down. Trailing her lips over his ear, his cheek, his neck, breaths mingling.
It had filled her mind during the entire transatlantic flight. What was he to her? The ultimate friend. There was no denying it any longer. Rejection would be shit. But better then a life full of regret and “what if?
She needn’t have worried. He let her take full control. This was what she wanted. This was what he wanted. She had done exactly what he thought she would; be there for him when everyone else decided to leave. Her kiss was hesitant at first, was this really happening, before years of pent-up passion finally broke through and before either of them realised, she was on her back, her black hair fanned across the pillow.Their hands under each other’s shirts, eyes meeting, no words.
“We can stop,” he said, his eyes on her cross. “No, we will stop. I know what this means to you. I can wait.” Her protests died on her lips as he placed a finger over them. “I’ve waited years for this. I can wait one year longer. Unless you don’t want to get married to me. Which is fine. Or is one year not enough time to plan a wedding for women?”.
Shocked into silence by so many variables, she could do nothing as he went to retrieve an item from his top desk drawer. Encased in a navy blue box, her favourite colour, her sunrise boy asked her the question he had been waiting to ask for weeks. There could only be one answer. The fingers of the award-winning rockstar that had strummed guitar strings in front of millions were shaking as he slid the ring onto her finger.
It would be a lie to say they lived happily ever after. Fallout from leaving the music world was tough on both of them. Issues around her darker skin, in contrast to his white, the clashing of cultures and celebrity life. But the bad times paled into insignificance with the good times.
She had been nervous about the first time. And...it didn’t go to plan. Lying there, moments afterwards, she felt like crying into the awkward silence. He took her into his arms, and told her the truth. Mindblowing sex could not be used to describe what they had not just had. But had he ever made love to someone with so much laughter and pure joy? Never. Wiping tears from her eyes, he whispered that they had a lifetime to work on it. The only way was upwards.
He could never leave music completely, and chose to work as a teacher at a music specialist school. No one outside of the school was allowed to speak of his presence there. Every September she’d wait for his stories about the new students when they realised he was going to be their teacher. As for her? She finally decided to pick a plot from those swirling around in her mind, sit down and write. Her novel was no bestseller, but it had a dedicated fanbase whose letters, emails and love completed that part of her which had always felt unfulfilled. The second book was in the works.
He came home from work one day to find her on the sofa, unnaturally quiet. Holidays for them couldn’t be classed as “once in a life time”, expense was no bar, but they’d thoroughly planned an Australia/New Zealand tour over the Southern Hemisphere summer. He was shocked - why did she want to cancel?
“I don’t know about you,” a nervous smile graced her face. “ But I wouldn’t want to go on holiday with a two month old baby.” He fell at her feet, hands cradling her still-flat abdomen, their happy sobs filling the room.
“Daddy, are you really going to let Mummy give me Coca-Cola?” His daughter held his hand tightly. Feeling unconditional love from the outset for another human being had scared him at first. Seeing that trust and affection in her eyes now , he didn’t quite feel he deserved it. And didn’t quite realise that the unconditional love came from a fountain inside, for more had come when his son had finally joined and completed their family a few months earlier. He shrugged.
“It’s Mummy’s way for saying sorry for making you get up so early,” his wife (that word sounded great, even five years later) smiled. “We’ll go and get breakfast at IHOP later, okay baby?” They’d moved to the USA six months ago, so that his dying mother would be able to meet her grandson. The stress of uprooting had been worth the happiness on her face. She didn’t have long left and it was an anxious time for the whole family. In fact, he realised, this was the first time it had just been the four of them.
The car pulled up in front of an unfamiliar house. His wife opened the door - the house was fully furnished, but empty.
“I managed to find this place. It wasn’t easy,” she told him, cooing at the baby boy strapped on her chest. “But once I told them, they understood.” He was still confused and she smiled. “Wait. You’ll see.”
As they climbed up the stairs to the roof, the memories started to come back. Thumping bass, writhing bodies, a sticky soaked t-shirt. An Indian girl, her expression a mixture of shock and shame. High on more than life. The most engaging, stimulating conversation and how natural it had felt. He remembered thinking that somehow this girl had wormed his way into his heart, that she’d never leave.
“Mummy, look!!” The door was now open and the view before them was much the same as it had been years before.
The two of them, with two humans of their own, watched the sunrise.
Dedicated to;
I don’t think you’ll ever know that I dedicated this to you. But maybe I’ll share it with you, one day. I fell in love with the idea of what could have been between us. And I guess this was somehow the inspiration for my story, with a great deal of imagination sprinkled in. But actions speak so much louder than words, and I should have seen it coming.

after  viviana  gets  her  memories  back,  she  decides  to  start  up  a  new  venture.
because  the  horses  gabriel  got  for  her  helped  her  so  much  during  that  time,  she,  first  of  all,  made  sure  everyone  in  house  deluca  was  matched  with  their  perfect  horse.
and  then  she  started  buying  more:  the  absolute  best  of  the  best  of  race  horses,  jumping  horses,  and  breeding  horses,  deciding  to  dip  her  toes  into  all  three  ventures.  before  long,  her  stables  were  full,  and  the  over  seven  hundred  acres  of  her  estate  were  made  into  an  indoor  jumping  ring,  an  outdoor  jumping  ring,  an  actual  race  track,  grazing  fields  and  training  fields.
her  pet  project  is  called  VANITY  ROYAL  STABLES.
so,  let’s  meet  some  of  the  horses!
we’ll  start  with  the  family’s  own  horses:
viviana,  herself,  has  three  horses  she  calls  her  own.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
JUPITER  the  first  horse  gabriel  bought  for  viviana.  gabriel  saw  him,  and  knew  right  away  that  this  was  a  horse  viviana  had  to  have.  i  mean,  come  on,  he’s  literally  golden!  JUPITER  is  stubborn  and  has  a  mind  of  his  own,  and  he  really  only  recognizes  viviana  as  someone  worthy  to  ride  him.  she  has  no  problem  handling  him,  but  no  one  else  can  seem  to.  he  takes  after  his  mistress  in  so  many  ways,  it’s  almost  like  he’s  the  equine  version  of  viviana  deluca.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
SKY   (  named  for  the  colour  of  his  eyes  )   may  be  viviana’s  favourite  horse  right  now   (  but  don’t  tell  the  others!  )   he  caught  her  attention  with  his  striking  blue  eye,  and  he  kept  it  with  his  wonderful  personality.  he’s  not  as  stubborn  as  jupiter,  or  as  strong  willed  as  fioire.  he’s  calm,  and  he’s  sweet,  which  was  exactly  what  viviana  needed  while  she  had  none  of  her  memories.  she  just  needed  someone  to  be  there,  and  she  found  that  in  SKY.  he  never  pressured  her  or  judged  her.  he  didn’t  care  that  she  couldn’t  remember  a  thousand  years  of  her  life.  he  was  never  pushy  like  jupiter  could  be.  and  when  she  talked,  it  felt  like  he  actually  listened.  and  he  reminds  her  so  of  her  gallant.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and  as  a  present  for  her  nine  hundred  and  thirtieth  birthday,  gabriel  gave  viviana  a  white  horse.   (  with  a  spot  of  black  on  her  nose  )   a  horse,  she  would  late  come  to  find  out,  that  is  the  same  breed  as  her  first  ever  horse,  gallant.  and  viviana  said  that  the  horse,  who  she  named  FIOIRE,  which  means  blossom  in  italian,  immediately  reminded  her  of  gallant  because  of  her  curly  mane  and  tail.
Tumblr media
alyssandra’s  horse,  who  viviana  ironically  named  ROSA  while  her  memories  were  gone  also  turned  out  to  be  jupiter’s  mate.  together,  they’ve  already  had  two  foals,  one  of  which  went  on  to  earn  VANITY  ROYAL  STABLES  quite  a  bit  of  money  thanks  to  its  father’s  success  as  a  jumper.  the  other  foal,  the  first  one,  they’ve  kept  as  one  of  their  own,  and  he  shows  a  knack  for  jumping,  as  well.  every  chance  that  they  get  to  grab  jupiter  and  ROSA  and  head  out  for  a  ride,  they  take  it.  the  two  of  them  love  it,  and  the  horses  love  it,  as  well.  it’s  kind  of  like  a  double  -  date.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
when  rowan  returned  home  after  viviana’s  recovery,  none  of  the  horses  gabriel  bought  seemed  to  connect  with  her.  all  of  them  seemed  to  like  her,  and  she  rode  rosa  most,  but  none  of  them  felt  like  hers,  and  so  viviana  made  it  her  mission  to  find  her  eldest  daughter  the  perfect  companion.  for  the  longest  time,  they  had  no  luck,  and  rowan  was  beginning  to  lose  hope.  but  then  she  and  viviana  met  the  charming   (  and  inseparable  )   team  of  DAKOTA  the  dalmatian,  and  LOLA  the  appaloosa.  and  while  viviana  is  not  a  big  fan  of  dogs,  she  could  see  the  instant  connection  rowan  had  with  both  animals,  and  so  they  both  came  home  with  them.  and  the  three  of  them  do  everything  together.
there's  two  reasons  stella  has  two  horses.  the  first  is  that  she’s  kind  of  a  horse  fanatic  like  her  momma,  and  the  second  is,  because  of  that,  she’s  very  in  to  equestrian  sports.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
her  first  horse  is  one  that  gabriel  brought  home,  and  stella  just  thinks  she’s  the  best  horse  in  the  world.  her  name  is  VIOLA  and  she  is  gentle  and  sweet,  but  she’s  also  quite  old.  she’s  still  playful  and  strong  for  her  age,  but  she  can’t  do  the  jumps  or  trickriding,  so  stella  uses  her  for  trail  rides.  lots  of  trail  rides.  she’s  always  worried  she’s  ignoring  VIOLA  so  she  actually  gives  her  more  attention.
Tumblr media
her  second,  athletic  horse  is  a  unique  beauty   (  and  personality  )   stella  named  TWISTER.  he  is  quite  the  character.  if  he  doesn’t  get  enough  time  doing  what  he  loves,  which  is  jumping,  he  starts  to  act  out.  first  of  all,  he’s  learned  how  to  open  his  stall  door.  so,  when  he  antsy,  he’ll  just  let  himself  out  of  his  stall. . .  and  then  he’ll  let  the  rest  of  the  horses  out  of  theirs,  too.  luckily,  he  hasn’t  figured  out  how  to  open  the  stable  doors,  but  he  does  know  how  to  get  into  the  food.  stella  has  to  keep  him  constantly  busy,  jump  him  every  single  day,  or  else  he  acts  out  and  her  moms  warn  her  that,  if  she  can’t  handle  such  a  high  -  maintenance  horse,  then  they  might  have  to  find  her  another  horse.  but  stella  loves  TWISTER  in  all  his  crazy,  whacky,  trouble  -  making  ways.  so  she  keeps  him  busy!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the  next  horse  was  bought  by  VANITY  ROYAL  STABLES  because  of  his  striking  looks,  to  be  used  for  breeding  purposes.  but,  as  soon  as  he  got  there,  he  proved  to  be  a  little  too  much  for  anyone  to  handle.  he  would  attack  the  other  horses,  and  snap  at  any  person  that  tried  to  go  near  him.  he  was  stubborn  and  hot  -  headed,  temperamental  and  unpredictable  and  viviana  deemed  him  too  dangerous  to  keep.  but,  during  his  week  at  the  deluca  estate,  briar  had  been  keeping  a  close  eye  on  him.  something  about  him  called  out  to  her,  like  a  soul  that  needed  healing.  and  so,  when  viviana  announced  that  she  was  selling  him,  briar  went  out  to  the  stables  that  night  and  pulled  a  chair  up  in  front  of  his  stall.  and  she  just  sat  that  with  him.  all  night.  and  he  wasn’t  reactive  or  temperamental.  when  the  sun  came  up,  she  even  dared  feed  him  an  apple.  and  he  ate  it  out  of  her  hand  as  gently  as  any  other  horse.  so,  briar  marched  right  up  to  viviana’s  office  and  demanded   (  or,  rather,  she  asked  nicely  )   to  be  given  a  trial  -  period  with  the  horse  because  she  knew  there  was  a  wonderful  animal  beneath  the  surface,  and  she  was  going  to  prove  it.  it  took  a  bit  of  convincing,  but  viviana  agreed,  and  she  asked  her  what  she  was  going  to  name  him,  and  briar  said,  FAITH.
Tumblr media
gabriel  fought  tooth  and  nail,  paid  an  arm  and  a  leg  to  bring  home  a  horse  he  thought  viviana  would  love,  with  it’s  white  mane  and  black  coat.  he  thought  she’d  be  as  entranced  by  his  beauty  as  he  was,  and  while  she  agreed  that  the  horse  was,  indeed,  quite  beautiful,  she  felt  no  connection  with  him.  and  she  said  that  she  felt  no  connection  with  him,  but  she  thought  gabriel  might.  and  she  was  right.  so,  even  though  he’d  never  had  a  horse  before,  and  though  he  knew  little  of  them,  he  decided  to  keep  this  one  for  himself,  and  he  still  says  it’s  one  of  the  best  decisions  he’s  made.  he  named  the  horse  ATLAS,  and,  before  they  got  their  own  companions,  his  children  were  quite  taken  with  ATLAS,  and  as  for  ATLAS?  he  still  loves  the  entire  sharp  clan.  gabriel,  jenna,  and  the  kids.
Tumblr media
then  there’s  zachariah’s  horse  that  he  names  ROMAN  to  honour  his  roman  heritage.  zach  decided  to  join  gabriel  on  some  of  his  outings  to  buy  horses,  and  that’s  when  he  saw  the  unique  beauty  that  is ROMAN.  and,  it  turns  out  he’s  a  lot  like  his  mom  in  the  way  that  he  felt  a  special  connection  with this  horse  the  moment  he  met  him.  so,  even  though  he  had  to  pay  a  hand  and  foot  for  him,  he brought  roman  home  the  very  same  day.  and  ROMAN  immediately  became  best  friends  with  viviana’s favourite  horse,  sky.  they’re  practically  attached  at  the  hip,  which  makes  viviana  very  happy.  zach  and  viviana  now  have  a  bi  -   weekly  date:  every  other  sunday  they  take  ROMAN  and  sky  and  ride  out  to  watch  the  sun  rise  over  the  hills.  viviana  teases  that  he’s  getting  a  little  too  old  to  hang  out  with  his  mom,  but  he  never  disagrees  with  her.  she  looks  forward  to  their  ride  every  day  leading  up  to  it.
Tumblr media
aurelia  met  the  horse  she’d  come  to  name  WISTERIA,  and  that  was  it.  she  was  in  love.
Tumblr media
you  only  need  take  one  glance  at  CALLIOPE  to  know  she’s  a  stunning  horse.  and  she  has  a  rather  tender  personality,  too.  when  cass  first  met  her,  she  ate  an  apple  out  of  her  hand  and  then  nuzzled  her  nose  against  her  face  and  cassie  knew  she  had  to  have  this  horse.  she  was  perfect!  and,  besides,  her  name  was  cassie,  while  the  horse’s  name  was  CALLIE.  as  far  as  the  little  angel  was  concerned,  it  was  a  match  made  in  heaven.  but  then  they  got  her  home  and  there  was  some  turbulence.  while  she  was  great  with  her  on  the  ground,  when  cassie  tried  to  ride  her,  CALLIOPE  just  wouldn’t  cooperate.  viviana  said  that  the  horse  was  too  high  -  strung  for  a  beginner  like  cassie,  and  they  should  start  looking  for  another  horse,  but  cassie  already  adored  the  horse.  so,  stella,  who  knew  a  thing  or  two  about  dealing  with  high  -  strung  horses  from  dealing  with  twister,  volunteered  to  help  cassie  out  until  she  an  CALLIOPE  got  into  a  rhythm  and  learned  to  become  a  team.
Tumblr media
jase  loved  his  dad’s  horse,  atlas,  so  much  that,  for  his  birthday,  viviana  gets  him  a  pony  with  the  same  colouring  at  atlas.  and  the  little  boy  is  overjoyed.  he  wants  to  ride  the  pony,  that  he  calls  ROCKSTAR,  or  ROCKY  for  short,  all  of  the  time.  he  gets  his  parents  out  of  bed  so  he  can  go  ride  ROCKY.  and,  not  that  he’d  ever  say  it  to  anyone  but  jenna,  but  sometimes  gabriel  curses  viviana  for  this   “present.”   viviana  knows,  though.  she  thinks  it’s  all  hilarious.
OTHER  HORSES   /   @univurs  has  gotta  pick  out  horses  for  jenna  and  vienna  hfdjsk
Tumblr media
the  next  two  horses  are  sisters,  and  twins,  in  fact,  they  were  born  to  some  horses  from  the  stables,  and  their  purchase  fell  through  so  viviana  decided  to  keep  them.   and  everyone  refers  to  them  as  the  twins.

Snatched my Heart RDPR S10E07
Snatch Game!!!
Yes it is time for everyone's favourite episode right up until Season 10 happened! I've been sick all week and haven't had the energy to even think about writing.
Until now! I consume a lot of Drag Race related media from podcasts like Alright Mary, the subreddit, you get the gist. But by far the best thing you can watch alongside the main show and Untucked is Miz Cracker's Review with a Jew.
Tumblr media
It doesn't matter that she is not a Drag Race rockstar right now in terms of performance but Miz Cracker is great and Review with a Jew is the perfect peak behind the curtain. And her episode for Snatch Game has made me enjoy the episode a little bit more.
Firstly though I was glad she confirmed this wasn't a good Snatch Game. I totally agreed.
To start the show the library is open. The reading challenge was so heavily edited, Monet got the biggest raction in the room for that Cracker read and then Ru announced Eureka's win as if it was just totally obvious. Felt weird.
Anyway, on with the show... Bianca Del Rio enters the work room and pretends she doesn't know anyone already. She is also made out like this Snatch Game hero, the best in the game. Which she wasn't. Her Judy was fine but Ben was better... Twice!!! But I'd imagine De La was not willing to come back, again.
Pearl was funnier for Christ's sake!!
Tumblr media
But there we are.
Eureka pretends Devine was an option before being "convinced" she should do Honey Boo Boo.
Monet is going to make Chi Chi look really bad with her Maya Angelou.
Kameron Diaz is doing Blac China the wrastler.
Monique Heart never redeems herself as Maxine Waters.
Cracker is doing Dorothy Parker. (?) Interesting to note she reveals in Review that she had some nuts republican character to do but was advised not to given what a racist scumbag the women apparently is. I get the show doesn't really want to go there, probably for a ton of reasons, but I do think Cracker would have made that funny...er.
Asia can't do Whitney without a drug reference. Lies and fallacies America. She could have figured that one out, come on... So she chooses Beyonce instead?! Seriously?! Have you not watched Drag Race.
Tumblr media
And The Vixen is Blue Ivy. Leave the Knowles alone girls. The Knowles/Carters are not Snatch Game ready.
Finally, Aquaria is Melania Trump. Not going to lie, I kind of loved this. Plus her acceptance of being a bit awkward with speaking to people, flubbing over her sentences was adorable, sweet and totally relatable.
Snatch Game
So Snatch Game just seemed so low energy to me, you had Eureka giving it socks the whole way through, Monet had just great moment after great moment. I don't care if the soliloquy was pre written, they were great.
Tumblr media
I thought Aquaria captures Melania perfectly, her jokes worked, the Michelle Obama name card, the China comeback, she was spot on even her facial expressions were so good.
But beyond these three things took a dive.
Cracker disappeared for me and Chyna did too. This is where Review with a Jew shines a whole new light on Snatch Game. It's 2 HOURS LONG!! It takes them two whole hours to film it! According to Cracker they were warned to make it good or Ru would be pissed, they had a ton of awkward moments, it was really hard and sounded like a nightmare. And what we saw of these two was their best! Which wasn't that bad but pretty mediocre.
Asia and The Vixen's bit totally flopped. Aggressive Beyonce is not the Bey I want to see! I get it, she was trying to do this behind the scenes Beyonce but it was horrible! Plus if you're doing Bey don't over think it, just go act like some kind of robotic stepford wife or something, play off the demeanour we see, exaggerate it, cartoonify it, whatever. It always works best when it's clearly a parody. But Beyonce is one star who never lets you see her get mad or see her flip out. Beyonce is composed and sooo self aware. There is a joke there but Asia didn't come close.
The Vixen had an idea with Blue Ivy, I get there was an idea there but it wasn't fully formulated and it just didn't work.
Monique broke apparently twice, we got to see it once when she laughed at Ru. She had no jokes. Nothing. And it was shit because Monique is a funny Queen.
But it was two hours of filming... Ouch.
Mermaids...
Tumblr media
The Queen's served Mermaids on the runway. Run run runway.
Cracker and Kameron made sense being safe and both were cute on stage. Monet, Aquaria and Eureka were tops. Aquaria's look was stunning though and I wasn't mad she won.
Tumblr media
Asia, The Vixen and Monique were bottom. I think Asia should have been bottom two. There, i said it. And I'll say this, that fucking fish head thing, I hated it!! I loved her concept and idea in the voice over. She didn't tell Michelle that which was weird but I got it, I liked it.
But the look was not cute.
I hated The Vixens outfit and I hated that Monique was in the bottom. But mostly I hate that she didn't know the words.
Tumblr media
And America, the Heart of the competition is outta here.
Let's Untuck this
On the main stage the Queen's were asked who should go home and it went down really well, didn't stir any shit and everyone was best friends after.
No wait, everyone except Eureka said The Vixen, The Vixen said Eureka, Eureka came for The Vixen's opinion and then they all had to disappear off stage.
In Review with a Jew, Cracker reveals her and Kameron were back stage for ages and then she does this great bit taking the piss out her obvious plug for Object furniture.
When the rest of the gang arrives The Vixen is wounded. She comes for every girl who picked her getting a bit nastier everytime right up to telling Monique she was the least prepared there. She also looks for back up on her opinions on Eureka but never gets it.
Tumblr media
Now in her review Cracker explains how, I think Monique said at some live watch that Eureka had been told by the judges earlier to not rely on fat jokes and something else... Can't remember, also can't remember if we were shown that... But anyway she hints at this being a frustration of The Vixen that Eureka never changed like the judges asked and is skating by on it.
But that doesn't make The Vixens outburst Ok. But she has been goaded by Eureka as well, we saw it, I do believe The Vixen when she said Eureka is annoying.
Regardless of all that, The Vixen was clearly feeling hurt, she broke down when she saw her mother which was so beautiful to see, very sad.
Monique's exit was very sad, such a great character for the show, I really feel like she would have been missed in the work room. I hope she gets lots of opportunities from this gig because she really deserves it.
And that was Snatch Game. Can't recommend catching Review with a Jew from Miz Cracker enough, YouTube that shit... Until next time
